Welcome to my profile page! It is exciting you are looking into finding support for whatever obstacles may be deterring your child from their own personal success and happiness. My experience is vast as I not only have the education, credentials and licensure to help people but I also have diverse LIFE experiences. This unique attribute allows me to view multiple perspectives and provide support and encouragement with a non-judgmental approach. I am collaborative and a great listener who will ensure we are working together to achieve YOUR child's therapy goal(s). Your son or daughter will be provided with evidence-based knowledge and skills to help them implement the changes he or she want to make in their life.
I earned my Masters of Science in Social Work and my Master of Science in Couples and Family Therapy from the Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. It is important for you to know the Raymond A. Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville Couple's and Therapy program was 1 of only 2 credentialed programs in the United States at the time of my graduation. I reside just across the Ohio River in Southern Indiana and am licensed there to provide mental health counseling.
During my 4 1/2 years of clinical experience, I have worked with children ages 4-17 who experienced anxiety, anger issues, social isolation, abuse and neglect and some who were on juvenile probation. I also have worked with youth who identified as LGBTQ. Communication problems are an issue many people struggle with. This is an area of expertise for me as I have found this basic foundational piece of solid relationships to often be the missing ingredient in secure relationships. We only know what we know; I hope you choose me to help your child learn new skills for improving their quality of life!

Christina is wonderful. She respects my family values and is great at giving guidance and encouragement. I am so blessed to have been matched with her.
Christina has been wonderful. We feel safe and comfortable sharing our struggles and know she's there to help and cares about our welfare.
Christina and I are still meeting, but I have to say, after two sessions, I could not be more impressed. She is incredibly patient (I can be verbose), asks great, thoughtful questions, gives excellent feedback, and on a very basic level, is just enjoyable to be around.
Christina is a good listener, no doubt she knows what she is doing or talking about. She has great understanding to you as a person and has a variaty of solutions for you to try. Best councelor.
I am very happy that Christina is my therapist, she understands my needs to a T. She listens to me and knows what I need. I would recommend her to everyone I know that needs help too.
