About me

Hi Parent(s),
There is hope, and there is healing and peace ahead. While being a teenager dealing with depression, social anxieties, ADD, ADHD, oppositional defiant behaviors, suicidal thoughts/attempts, anti-social behaviors, body image issues, etc., can be frustrating and overwhelming for them, their friends and their family, they can be handled and resolved in healthy and productive ways. Allowing the teen, their friends, and families to experience a healthier lifestyle of thinking and behaving.
My name is Chris, and I am a parent of two teenage girls. I have answered the call to be a licensed Therapist for over 10 years now in San Antonio, TX., and served as a counselor/coach in other states for more than 10 years. Altogether, I have been working in the mental health field for more than 20 years. I have had the distinct honor of being a Youth Pastor for a few years and am now volunteering as a youth leader in my church. In addition, I was a head coach on the high school level for a while, and I continue to provide sports performance therapy for high school, collegiate and professional athletes.
I have a passion to serve the youth, their families and the community by helping to make healthier changes both mentally and behaviorally. I would be honored to come along side and create a well-tailored plan and process of counseling that is person-centered, individualized, and creative to meet individual goals by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Conflict Negotiations, Behavioral Modification Therapy, and more.

Within the second week I’d already opened up to him which is a feat of its own. Though, it goes to show what an amazingly understanding guy he truly is. Never before did I ever look forward to a session but each one with him is comforting. He knows when to talk about something serious or if we’re just gonna give it a break and focus on something happy. During those days his personality is so intoxicating that it so easy to get lost in a smile. Chris is a wonderful councilor and I can honestly say I’ve never met anyone better.

Chris is an amazing therapist, every session so far has been extremely helpful and I would’ve never worked through my issues without him. Would recommend him to anyone that falls into the categories that he specializes in like myself.

As I was on the verge of giving up on myself, an ad popped up on an article that I was reading relatable to my current feelings. I clicked it, signed up, took a risk because the other option would not have benefited myself or anyone that I love and care for.

After writing a brief description of what goes on in my mind daily, I was matched with Chris Fisher. He is a great listener, follows up with me in a timely manner, over all he carries himself nonjudgmental, positive, and does his best we stay on track with all of my chaotic thoughts and stay focused on the bigger picture.

I appreciate this platform and highly recommend!
