About me
Hello, my name is Cassi! I have been working in Social Work for nearly a decade, and have been doing therapy for approximately 7 years. I received both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master's of Social Work from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Dakota. I have worked in several different settings, such as Certified Behavioral Health Centers, non-profit organizations, State Organizations, and for-profit organizations.
I have been training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children with Autism, Crisis Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience with individual therapy, couple's therapy, and group therapy, about all of which I am passionate. My special interest areas are helping those with a trauma history, those struggling in their relationships or with intimacy, and those struggling with their self-image. In teen counseling, I am specifically passionate about working with those who are struggling with self-image, bullying, and confidence. I had similar experiences while growing up, and can relate to these struggles on a personal level, while helping you working through it on a professional level.
It can be a difficult and overwhelming experience trying to decide whether therapy is the right fit for you. For the best experience and most therapeutic journey, it is important to find a therapist whose personality and therapy style is a good fit for you and your needs. I have a direct, but empathetic communication style. You are the expert in your life, and your therapy is your journey. As a therapist, it is my job to be your guide for your therapy journey. I am excited to work with you and help you to achieve your goals.

She is very professional and respectful.
The provider is respectful, intelligent, and manages her busy schedule very well!! I enjoy and look forward to our sessions!
Cassandra is absolutely excellent! We've been doing counseling for about a month and I feel like we are making leaps on some of the major issues that have plagued me for years and that years with a different therapist haven't yielded results. I look forward to every session as she provides insight, potential solutions for relief and challenges me to look deeper at the root cause of the solution. I feel confident that I can tackle my anxieties with Cassie's direction.
Cassandra listens and hears what I am trying to say.
Cassandra and I have been working together for a few months now and I really look forward to our sessions each week. She's a delight!

She has a very calm energy and is very easy to talk to .
