About Me
Throughout my career, I've worked with youth aged 13-24 years old. Although my primary focus during the last decade has been with LGBTQ youth, I have experience with youth that do not identify as LGBTQ. It is extremely important to create a safe space for youth and I will focus on working with the youth on working through their issues and finding a way, if comfortable, they are to share parts of the healing process with the family. During my practice with youth, we will focus on Cognitive Behavioral Methods and Motivational Interviewing to help see results quickly and to build on coping mechanisms that will help the youth move forward. Also, we will work through communication barriers that youth might have with their friends and family.

I love Brayton!! He makes me laugh, is 100 percent real. He is so positive and sends off a lot of great energy.
He's an excellent listener and funny :)
Brayton is fantastic. I was new to therapy and he really helped me even as I felt I could barely articulate my thoughts. I really feel I owe him a lot moving forward.
Brayton is empathetic, and I appreciate his objective advice as I struggle with several issues and try to better understand myself.
Brayton listens to what you have on your mind and then he asks very good questions to make you think about your issues.
Brayton is an excellent listener and great at helping you learn where your areas of focus should be. He’s non-judgmental and very approachable. I highly recommend his services.
Brayton is such a helpful counselor! During our time together, he was able to get to the core issues through asking thoughtful questions and using excellent listening and observation skills. Definitely couldn't have survived this year without his support! He is very trauma informed and understands the complexities of the stresses of the world and how it can affect mental health.
Quick, prompt, and to the point. 30 minutes may not be a long time, but his being concise really helped me get at the core of the issue.
He’s truly a great listener and offers good insight. He is easy to talk to and I feel comfortable sharing my concerns with him.
Brayton is extremely emotionally intelligent. He is able to understand the issues, offer practical solutions, and encourage helpful dialogue. I appreciate his insights, his care and his ability to help. I strongly recommend him.
