Hi, my name is Brandie Wesley. Currently, I am a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska. I am now in the process of applying for my license in North Carolina to provide mental health counseling there.
I have been a helping career for over 15 years in a variety of settings. My experience ranges from working in a juvenile detention center, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, community mental health centers, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, and outpatient counseling centers. My primary focus in the past 8 years has been with children and adolescents (more specifically adolescents).
I am an eclectic therapist meaning one size does not fit all. We will work together to develop your therapeutic goals. While we all know, life tends to show up whether we are ready or not, and I specialize in helping individuals, families, and groups process and deal with those issues. I understand the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship that is genuine and promotes growth. While I have a direct approach, I am also warm and caring. I want to ensure that my clients become the best version of themselves.

Brandie is genuine, compassionate, honest & funny! Love my experience with teen counseling because of Brandie!
She's helped me a lot already, I feel more aware of what's wrong and how to deal with myself. I have confidence that she's going to help me much more.
She checks in on us regularly which I appreciate
We only had three sessions so far but I found them very helpful. Brandie is professional but approachable, pays attention to client needs, and is clearly invested in the success of her clients. I was worried at first whether an American counsellor would be able to relate to my UK-related issues but that was not a problem at all.
Brandie has been very understanding in the couple months that I have worked with her. She's given me a lot of tools and resources to help me get over my issues, but most importantly: she listens. And that's all I need sometimes
Brandie is a great councillor but more importantly a great person, she will help with any scenario!
I have found the sessions with Brandie, to be helpful, she provides wonderful insight that has been great allowing me to reflect on key questions during and after our sessions. She was a great listener, her help and experience was greatly appreciated.
Just had my first session with Brandie - already starting to feel better. She is very kind and caring and a really good listener with great advice. Thank you Brandie.
Brandie listens to me and has recommended useful tips to help me relax.
Brandie is a lovely and supportive therapist. She’s understanding, non-judgmental and hard-working. She helps construct goals and gives down to earth advice. Very happy with her as my therapist.
Brandie is awesome. She listens to everything that I have to say and gives insightful feedback. She makes me see things that I never would have thought about but make total sense.
