About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and their families in the public schools and the juvenile justice system. I work with clients who are facing issues related to personal growth, life transitions, relationships, sexuality, gender, and family issues. My clients have had a wide range of issues they have needed help with; from how to develop and keep friends to school related stress, to helping clients transitioning from high school or college on to the next step of their lives. I have significant experience working with clients who have diagnoses of Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD. Concerns about Special Education, along with stress from school or family problems, are some of the additional issues that I have helped clients with.
I use a relaxed approach to connect with my clients and then work together to help them build upon their strengths, and achieve their goals. Developing a strong therapeutic relationship is a key to my clients' success. My clinical approach is primarily psychodynamic, but I will also draw from family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy as well.

I was familiar with various strategies to deal with my particular issues, but Brad, using his experience and expertise, deftly curated strategies for me that worked best because he took into consideration who I am as an individual. There is no substitute for a live therapist. I’m grateful for his help.

Brad is a great listener and knows when to step in with helpful advise or follow up with some good information. He is friendly as much as he is clinical. I appreciate that touch.
