If you are dealing with issues related to your present life, and/or working through issues from the past; relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, blocked creativity, trauma, depression, anxiety; we can work on that stuff. In 4 decades of practice I've seen people work through many major life challenges. I work with individuals and couples.
I've been a therapist since the early 1980s when I was in my early 20s. I was trained by a group of therapists who were drawing from a variety of approaches. That means I am trained to work with people using a variety of modalities, including talk therapy, creative therapy, body-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, and hypnosis. I am also trained as a Career Counselor. My tool kit is well equipped to provide each person with a unique therapeutic experience.
I have worked with teenagers throughout my career, both in counseling and presenting workshops on stress management, and prevention of drug abuse and sexual harassment. I get along well with younger folks, and respect the autonomy of young people. If you are a teen looking for a counselor, I'd be happy to meet with you.
Once we meet online and start working, you'll determine the direction of your therapy so that you can benefit as much as possible from the experience. It is a courageous act to seek help. I look forward to beginning our work!

I have been so greatly helped through one of the roughest points in my life by this man. His support , guidance and reassurance have been invaluable and helped me feel less alone in the world
Baruch has been awesome to work with and a vital part of my personal journey these last few months. I'd certainly recommend Baruch for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and experienced counselor.
Baruch isn’t my first therapist or only therapist currently. I’d prefer him to any of my other therapists. I’ve already recommended him to many friends and am eager to work with him going forward.
Baruch is the best counselor I’ve had in a very long time!
Baruch is very sweet and understanding. He's very nice to talk to and you can really trust him.
Baruch has been helping me sort out issues in dealing with my elderly father who was distant, very critical, and emotionally unavailable during my childhood and beyond. My father is currently verbally abusive to me and other family members in many instances. Baruch is wonderful. He has helped me with concrete and practical suggestions to help me deal with the immediate situation with my father and also more in-depth analysis of the whys and wherefores of the past. In spite of many years of difficulties with my father, he reminds me of all the positives in my own adult life, which can be hard to focus on when feeling overwhelmed when dealing with crises in an elderly parent. I felt immediately at ease with Baruch at our first session. He is an amazing listener and responds with such clarity and insight. In just a few sessions, he has helped me greatly. Highly recommend!
I would be surprised if there was a counselor that was a better match for me out there. Baruch has initially helped me get through a really tragic time in my life and we've transitioned to working on just general life things that I have a hard time working through. He's helping encourage me to use the tools I already knew I had and has perfectly unusual and relevant suggestions of books or movies(etc.) he thinks may help me or I may just get something out of, and as an unusual person, that is exactly what I need from counseling.
Baruch is professional, warm, funny, and compassionate always. A true credit to his craft. Really helped tremendously- I learned a lot and have better tools to cope with my trauma and depression related to my daughter’s addiction. Highly recommend!!!
Baruch is very professional and compassionate. He listens well and asks insightful questions. I highly recommend him.
It took me one session with Baruch to have that "eureka" moment with him. Three weeks later, I feel like I've taken back control of my life and subsequently the thoughts bothering me have disappeared. Baruch is an extremely good listener. He not only listens to what you're saying, but how, and uses that as a means to dig deeper. He's committed his life to this profession, and truly cares about bettering humanity through his work. I would recommend him to anyone who cannot seem to overcome their problems on their own or with those close to them. Sometimes a conversation with a professional in this area is all we need. Baruch was certainly that for me.
Baruch has been very helpful to my situation. I have a lot going on and he seems to understand and listen to my concerns. I appreciate his help.
Helpful and I trust his incredible experience.
This is not my first therapy experience but it is the first therapy experience that is helping me. Barukh is really good at his job, I felt heard and understood and all of his advice and creative suggestions were of a huge help to gain clarity and peace of mind. 100% recommend!
My son is very pleased with Baruch and looks forward to his sessions. They appear to have a good connection and it's very helpful.
He has offered me some varied and fantastic tools. I felt heard and understood and he offered me help in the right spots. Clearly he is extremely talented in this arena. I feel very lucky to of “stumbled upon” his work.
