About me

Welcome! My name is Ashley Williams and I am a licensed clinician social worker in Arizona. I received my master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. I have been providing counseling for over five years in various capacities. I am a certified trauma professional and have training in several theories of thought and therapeutic techniques. My therapy style is catered to your specific needs and level of comfort.

It would be my honor to help guide you to finding the strength within yourself to overcome whatever obstacle brings you here. I practice from within a humanistic approach and whole heartedly believe we are all doing the very best we can with what we know and have at any given moment. I will work with you on skill building from a strengths based perspective to meet your perspective goals. I believe humor is an essential piece to the therapeutic relationship and incorporate it whenever appropriate; after all, laughter is the best medicine.

I have experience working from ages 7 through adulthood on issues ranging from general mental health to addiction (substance, alcohol or pornography), abuse and trauma. I have extensive work history working with adolescents and young adults. I am available in the mornings at 8am and offer later evening and weekend appointments. I generally check my messages and emails throughout the day and will reply as timely as possible.

I look forward to being a support to you (or your teen)!

My daughter is in the beginning stage with Ashley Williams. So far no complaints. Ashley has been very responsive. Listens to our daughter's and our concerns. They are currently building a foundation but we truly think that Ashley will be very beneficial and help her where we are unable to.

Ashley has been amazing so far. She is the type of person and mental health professional that can connect and relate to a wide variety of people and issues they may be struggling with. She is knowledgeable and supportive and I am so glad I found her right now when she is desperately needed to help with my underlying trauma and anxiety. Thank you, Ashley!

Ashley has helped me navigate a very difficult break up along with emotional trauma from my childhood. I have been able to discover things I didn't even know were causing me pain or holding me back and utilize our sessions to learn how to move forward with this information.

I'm extremely grateful for Ashley and her ability to build rapport and listen intently. She offers good feedback when you ask for it and allows you to steer the conversation.

Ashley is the one you always looked for to trust with your issues. She will give you actual advice and solutions while being very respectful to your current issue. I have interacted with a few others and never have they had the same trust level or helpfulness. She truly cares about her career and it shows.

Ashley is awesome! She's very down to earth and supportive which is exactly what I've needed, and I can talk about anything without fearing what the response may be.
