Dr. Arthur Corrieri

(PsyD, LMHC)

About Me

My name is Dr. Arthur Corrieri. I am a mental health counselor licensed in Florida with over 20 years of experience. A good portion of my experience has been working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. I have worked with abused children in State custody, immigrant children, children who are victims of crimes (i.e. sexual exploitation), and children in private practice, school, inpatient, and residential programs.

All children have a strong voice, possess immense potential, and can reach emotional well-being despite their background, experience, and thoughts. I take the time to listen, build rapport, understand, and become their partner in communicating their issues and developing a measured treatment plan with achievable short-term and long-term goals. Hope and solutions are real. Thank you for searching for help for your child or teen.

Dr. Corrieri was exactly what I needed when I signed up for teen counseling. He really listens to understand, and then he thinks about his response. He is relatable and his intentions are clear, to give the best advice and feedback to his clients. One thing that really means a lot to me, is that Dr. Corrieri sends me messages in between our sessions to check-in. These small touches make me feel valued and comfortable. Thank you, Dr. !

Dr. Corrieri is building a rapport with my son. It takes time and we are new here, so I realize more effort is needed. I've already seen some benefits in my son. Well done so far.

Dr. Corrieri accepted me as his client and has addressed key issues that we have been able to quickly identify, areas of concern, and has been supportive in offering ideas, support and suggestions to help me make progress on a daily basis. I feel that he is great at understanding, listening, and communication so that I feel very relaxed and comfortable and want to try and can be open about myself and what is going on in my circumstances. Because of his care and help I have recommended teen counseling to others already. Thank you.
