About me
My name is Angie LeMay, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have been practicing since 2002 in many different settings, some of which include community mental health centers, adolescent ranch settings, adolescent group homes, and private practice. My degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University, but I have a passion for individuals outside the marriage and family therapy circle as well. I enjoy working with individuals, families, and kids of all ages. I have worked with many populations and enjoy each and every new journey a client invites me on. I have experience in working with kids and adolescents that suffer with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, self-harm behavior, grief and loss, ADHD, identity issues, addiction, abuse, and many more. My passion in my private practice was adolescents and feel I connect well with them. Building trust with my client is my first priority in treatment, and I do this by going at their pace, knowing when to push and pull back, giving them respect, and keeping it client centered. My goal in working with younger individuals is to allow them a safe place to show their identity and express their true self in hopes to give them the confidence they need to carry that into the world after treatment.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Angela (Angie) LeMay. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Angie is very professional knowledgeable and experienced. She was very helpful to my daughter and also extremely patient. I would recommend her to anyone with teenage girls struggling with eating disorders, self identity, self esteem issues and all of the social aspects that come with high school related issues. She helped my daughter tremendously.
If you need help with anything she is there and very god driven. Helped me through so much
Angie is simply the best. She’s equally compassionate and challenging which is everything I want in a therapist. She’s grounded in truth and faith and I always feel encouraged not just emotionally and mentally but spiritually when I speak to her. If you’re looking for someone honest, helpful, and faith-forward, you will find that with Angie.
She is the best!
Angie is an incredibly skilled christian-based therapist. Her knowledge and experience coupled with how she integrates biblical teaching make her an exceptionally effective therapist. She actively listens, is attentive, intuitive and offers keen insight.
Angie is a wonderful human being. I throughly enjoy every session I have with her. She’s helped me through one of my toughest periods of my life and I’m grateful for her.
She has helped me so much.
Angela's encouraging personality and approach have a way of creating a space that feels relatable right off the bat. With Angela, you definitely get back what you put in.
I love the help i’m getting and working on myself. Thank you Angie
So far Angie has been fantastic. She's been patient kind and understanding. Just knowing she's there has meant everything to me. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.
Awesome
Angie has been wonderful. She has a gentle but direct approach to help. She is a wonderful listener but has but such a great guide for me in my therapy journey.
Angie is constantly a beacon of hope and calm in my every day. Even if we aren’t in a session it is like she knows when I need to talk or type out something on my mind by checking in with me throughout the week. She remembers and authentically cares about what is going in my life and I don’t feel like I need to remind her of my past like I have for other therapists in the past. I am so happy to have Angie in my corner!
Absolutely amazing! I have never had a counselor that is so affirming and validating!!
Angie is so wonderful. She has a wealth of knowledge and insight and always offers encouragement and helpful insight. She is present and responsive and has been a fundamental source of support at this juncture in my life.
Angie has the expertise and experience to conduct meaningful, effective sessions while also being funny and easy to talk to. She asks the tough questions in a non intrusive manner, knows and remembers me without having to look up notes or ask repeat questions. She checks in via message in between sessions and is always prompt to respond. I can’t recommend her enough!
Angie is amazing! She is so easy to talk to that I forget I’m talking to a therapist.. sessions with Angie are so comfortable, like chatting with a good friend, I always look forward them.
I decided to seek help after getting to a low point and I was paired up with Angie. First off she is absolutely amazing! She is so sweet, caring, and she really listens to my concerns and gives great advice. I’m someone who finds a hard time opening up to new people, but Angie was so warm a welcoming to me. I definitely recommend her if you’ve never talked with a counselor before.
Angie is great! She helps me work through my anxiety and helps me to find solutions for my problems. She is not too forceful and not too laid back in her approach. I am glad to be working with her.
Angie is a warm, caring professional with a great ability to care for her clients. She incorporates spirituality when applicable and is completely engaged during session. Anyone would find benefit in talking to her.
Angie has been incredibly helpful during a tough time. I love the different options for communication and really love being able to put things in writing when communicating with a counselor (I'm better at organizing my thoughts when writing). Angie has a way of asking questions that gets me to think about it and really figure it out for myself, which has been super helpful. I may not continue using this service after my first month is done, but that is not a negative reflection on Angie... if anything, it's a really good thing because she's helped me so much in such a short time that I may not need help for much longer :)
