Andrea A. Neeb, M.S., LMHC
Co-Author, “Functional Family Therapy for Adolescent Behavior Problems”
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, MH 7930. I earned my Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2001. My expertise is in working with individuals, families, and couples who are experiencing relationship and communication issues. I am passionate in aiding children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a lack of bonding and attachment to those closest to them. For the past 16 years, I have focused my clinical work on family/couple’s treatment and training other therapists in the practice of family therapy.
My clinical experience has focused on externalizing behavioral issues, anger management, adjustment difficulties, parenting issues, family conflict, marital conflict, mood and anxiety disorders, and substance dependency. I have used well researched therapeutic approaches including Functional Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for 16 years to assist people in meeting their personal treatment goals and to develop meaningful relationships.
I believe that everyone can obtain personal growth and positive change in ways that are most comfortable to them. I work closely with all my clients to ensure a specific treatment approach is developed based on your unique needs and therapy goals. I hold strongly that the therapy experience will aid you in learning about yourself, your relationships, and how to strive towards positive changes.

To have a counselor that genuinely cares and earnestly listens is worth everything to us. Ms. Neeb has been a huge help for our daughter, and she has also encouraged us as the parents. She's far exceeded our hopes and expectations for a therapist. What we appreciate the most in Ms. Neeb is that she is balanced in her approach. We have felt at-ease and confident in her expertise and counsel, and would wholeheartedly recommend her.
Andrea does a very nice job.
Andrea listened and was helpful in her suggestions, allowing me to reflect on what we discussed. She made very pertinent observations which were just what I needed in my situation, allowing me to achieve my aim in signing up for teen counseling.
Andrea is amazing - there’s no other way to put it. She is empathetic and caring and positive and never pushes you to do talk about anything you’re uncomfortable with but at the same time is so comforting that you want to tell her everything. She’s helpful in all ways.
We have had two sessions with Andrea and I think she is awesome. She’s a great listener and has been helping us with our relationship.
She’s very easy to talk to! Like talking to a friend who listens well and has good advice!
Andrea is is a wonderful therapist. She is sharp, insightful, kind, patient and all of the other things a person would want in a counselor. Our sessions have made a positive impact on my life and have definitely helped me deal with the issues I'm wrestling with. I can't recommend Andrea highly enough!
I feel understood and listened to. What better compliment is there? Andrea is awesome.
Andrea is awesome. I'm very thankful for her. She understands me and helps me walk through my feelings. It's nice to have someone to talk to. Her 17 years of experience is why I chose her as my counselor. Thank you, Andrea!
