Andie is the first counselor that I've ever clicked with this well. They bring so much comfort, care, and understanding to the point where counseling wasn't even anxiety-inducing anymore. It truly felt like talking to a friend who deeply cares about your issues and helps to develop healthy coping mechanisms and good habits. In the short time we've worked together he has really helped me work through my traumas without any sort of judgment - just love and empathy. It has really felt like a safe space.
After working with Andie for just under 5 months, I can’t think of any better counselor and therapist that I would want. With the intricacies of being a military brat, a veteran myself, going through a turbulent time in my life, and being separated physically from family and close friend…I had near crippling anxiety and stress galore. Andie was very patient with me and ready to help. He provided me with tools and avenues to go that I hadn’t really considered. He approaches everything from a non-judgemental angle and is so helpful! I don’t know that I would have truly made it without Andie’s help. Thank you so much!
Andie has been a great person to work with. They’re extremely approachable, easy to talk to, and understanding in anything you come to them with. Right away we were able to establish doable skills to work on and tackle concerns we had. They would check in each week during our sessions to talk about how working on those skills had gone and to talk about any new/existing things that we felt like could be addressed or that I needed to talk to someone about. I feel like the time I got to spend working with Andie was well spent and very beneficial and it was a pleasure working with them. :)
Andie is an empathetic listener and gives helpful advice. He is professional and has a lot of expertise with LGBTQ issues.
As someone who has had many bad experiences with therapists in the past, Andie was a refreshing change of pace. He is a wonderful listener with thoughtful and helpful suggestions. My time with him was productive and helped me through some particularly challenging times. I never felt judged and enjoyed being able to talk freely and openly.
Andie is a good listener. I enjoy our counselling sessions. I highly recommend them
Andie is my first therapist, and they're amazing. We've begun to work on a bunch of stuff I didn't realize needed to be addressed, and Andie tailors their approach to my specific personality and needs. They meet me where I am with kindness and good humor, which I genuinely appreciate! I suspect I’ll be internally thanking Andie for their help for years to come.
Andie is very good. I like his style
Andie is an incredible therapist. He's approachable and compassionate, and never makes me feel judged or insecure. I feel lucky to have a queer, neurodivergent therapist because I feel like they really understand my perspective and can empathize in ways my other counselors could not. Andie is constantly challenging me, but rarely in a way that's overly uncomfortable. I've noticed dramatic changes in my quality of life and relationships since seeing him, just in a few months time.
Andie does a lovely job at listening and giving me space to figure out things, while still popping in and asking me introspective questions. I feel I am being heard and am cared for and respected.
In the four months I've worked with them, Andie has given me the tools to help me get my anxiety under control, transform my relationship with myself and get me in a place where I can move forward with relationships with other people - I've now got the tools in hand to get the relationship I want when I'm ready for it. They understood that I was very focused on solutions and resources, and that coupled with their incisive questions - and their understanding when I was a bit of a mess - has helped me get into a much better place than I was 12 months ago. Thanks, Andie!
J.N. In January 2021 I recognized my coping methods were exhausted inside my marriage with my wife. Andie used a blunt approach asking questions while I shared about my feelings, thoughts and marital conflict. I have experience with counseling and appreciated this method to cut through my superficiality while getting to know each other. Reaching out to teen counseling was one the best choices in my life because shortly thereafter through the teen counseling groupinars I finally faced the truth and uncovered the PTSD I have and now have began that work. Thank God.
Thank you Andie
Andie is awesome. He's attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and you never doubt for a moment that he cares. In fact, I've improved so much that I'm taking a break from therapy. I can't thank him enough for being there through some really difficult times.
Andie has helped me navigate and overcome lot of self doubt and chaotic cognitive dissonance. Especially with regards to a particularly difficult housing situation over lockdown. He is very easy to open up with and feels like a friend.
Andie was able to connect with me very quickly and he created a space where i could share thungs very comfortably without judging me.
I had several sessions with Andie regarding ADHD, among other things. I really value the advice that was offered, and feel resolved on the issues I was seeking counseling for.
I’m loving therapy with Andie so far! We’re just getting started but already I feel they get me on several levels and are an amazing resource. Highly recommend
He is wonderful. I’ve only met with him a few times, but my experience has been great. He is very professional, but still easy to open up to like a friend. He here’s all your concerns, offers advice, and finds ways to help out side of your meeting to benefit your progression. I met with one other counselor one time through teen counseling. I did not have a good experience. I decided to give it one more try and matched with Andie. He has far exceeded my expectations.
He listens to me and gets to know me. He helps me come up with ways to manage stress and anxiety by getting to know the things that work right for me. He uses a lot of soft(?) words and is very positive (something I didn’t know I needed). He was interested in my pets and genuinely cares about my life and what’s going on in it. I would recommend him and teen counseling to anyone. I’m happy I started counseling again.
Andie is a very supportive and sympathetic counselor. He responds very quickly and encourages communication that is best for you as an individual. I have never done any kind of mental health support before and was skeptical going in to this, but even after only two sessions with Andie I feel very supportive and feel like I at least have some idea of what direction I need to go in to start improving my mental health and quality of life. Would highly recommend Andie as a Counselor.
