I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Montana with experience working in clinics, schools, and nonprofits that provide therapeutic services. While I currently live and work in a fairly rural state, I attended graduate school and completed my clinical training in New York City. I feel that my diverse set of experiences has provided me with the opportunity to serve and relate to a diverse range of clients and issues. I have worked with teenagers presenting with a wide range of concerns including: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, grief, family dynamics, and coping with changes.
I know that it isn’t always easy to reach out for support and I hope to provide a safe and supportive space where we can work together to help you find some relief and start making changes in your life that will be rewarding, insightful, and motivating. I firmly believe that you are the best expert on you. We will work together to set your goals for therapy, and explore your unique strengths in order to achieve them. Getting to really know you and your experiences is always a top priority in my work. It is my goal to build relationships that build trust, foster collaboration, and provide transparency. I believe that we all have the capacity to make meaningful changes lead to the life that you have imagined for yourself, and it is my goal to create a warm, non-judgmental environment to do so.
Generally I use approaches from interpersonal, psychodynamic, strengths-based, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapies to explore emotions and behaviors, and support practices and actions that lead to living a life that feels fulfilling and purposeful. I will work hard to meet you where you are now, and use evidence-based practices to support your unique needs and strengths. I am so happy that you have decided to take this step, and I look forward to working with you.
