About me

I have worked with children and youth since I was 12 years old. I started out in a nursery and then I began working in schools. I eventually begin working with teens in their homes and in the community. The thing I hear a lot of youth say is "You understand me". This is the greatest feeling in the world. I know I was truly misunderstood as a teen so I listen to their concerns, meet them on their level, and we work together as a team.

She's awesome. Like talking to a family member you actually wanna be around lol. I think the only problem I'd have with her is the same problem I'd have with all theory, it can't fix the questions society refuses to answer. And, can't really blame anyone for that. I love 'er

Written on May 25, 2021 after therapy with Aisha for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, self esteem, and coping with life changes

Aisha is AMAZING. COVID broke the straw on my camel's back. I was starting to become overwhelmed and just having moments, more often that I would like, where I was not feeling myself. I felt like I was on edge all the time and I couldn't pick myself back up like I usually did. Finding Aisha helped provide me with a safe outlet where I knew I would have someone dedicated to listening to me, as well as challenge me. I'm beginning to understand just how cracked my foundations are and that would have been a scary and daunting realization. But with Aisha I know that I won't be alone in working to heal myself! I will never be able to truly express my appreciation of her!

Fantastic! So full of life but not in that fake therapist way. More like, she’s got it figured out. But she still has been there. You can tell that she gets your struggle and has fought through her own mind. Or at least, she makes u feel like she has, and that’s enough. She helps so much.

She checks in with me frequently if i got a long period without sending her a message, but she also gives me my space when i need it. i am so blessed to have found her and have her as my councilor. Written on Jul 18, 2018 after therapy with Aisha for 2 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship, eating, sleeping, self esteem, and anger

Aisha is wonderful. I’m incredibly picky when it comes to finding a therapist to work with. Aisha is someone who is easy to talk to, holds me accountable for my actions, makes me think and challenges me. I will continue to use her for therapy and would strongly recommend her to anyone who appreciates a good listener and may have had trouble finding a good fit with other therapists.

Written on Apr 14, 2018 after therapy with Aisha for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship, and self esteem

Aisha had instilled a lot of confidence in me. She always reminds me that I am strong, and smart, and she tells me she is proud of me. That is so important. She really listens and responds. She's not the "fixer" type, which is amazing. Anyone with anxiety and depression never wants to be looked at as "broken" and since talking with Aisha, I know she doesn't think of me as broken. It's great to have someone to talk to, but it's even better when they aren't trying to fix you.

Written on Apr 14, 2018 after therapy with Aisha for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, and family
