My name is Valerie Glass. I have worked as a therapist in a variety of settings for nearly 20 years. I currently hold a doctorate in marriage and family therapy and also work teaching students who are studying to become therapists. I have extensive experience working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, and family issues. I worked for several years providing therapy to adolescents in both intensive treatment and in outpatient therapy. I have worked with teens who are experiencing self esteem challenges, relationship issues, and mental health challenges. I really enjoy teens and find their perspectives refreshing.
Clients come to therapy for many different reasons. Some clients need a space to process life changes and challenges. Other clients seek direction and accountability. I meet clients where they are and provide a non-judgmental and collaborative space. I think of therapy as a journey to healing and becoming better - whatever that means to the individual. My role is to really understand where clients are coming from and to support their desired direction.
I am quite humbled by my role as a therapist and the vulnerabilities I see and experience as part of this role. I project an open and honest atmosphere and respect the challenges brought to the space.

Professional, meets patients where they are at, flexible, very supportive and utilizes effective therapy practices right for the individual.
Dr. Glass is engaging, insightful, fun to talk to and great to work with. Responses are timely, thoughtful, and clearly invested with a real care for my growth. The messaging function is super helpful for journaling my thoughts throughout the week so that we have a lot to discuss in sessions, which really enhances the work we’re doing. I hit the therapist jack-pot!
Dr. Glass is a wonderful listener. She provides great insight and helpful tips. I really appreciate her follow up. She is very timely! I would recommend Dr. Glass for anyone, looking to better themselves!
Valerie has been a great therapist so far. She asks good questions, provides some really helpful ideas for how to address particular issues, and she seems to really enjoy our conversations. She checks in if she hasn’t heard from me and always makes me feel supported!
Dr. Glass is a very real person. She listens and responds to wherever I am at the moment. She helps me see the good and not stay focused on the negative that life throws at me. She doesn't tell me what to do only that I will make the right choice when the time is right for me. I appreciate her.
Dr. Valerie Glass is awesome! Helpful, insightful and very easy to talk to you and open up to.
Dr. Glass so far has been extremely responsive and helpful! Even though I was a little skeptical at first with the concept, I am loving teen counseling and working with Dr. Glass. It is counseling on my time that works with my schedule.
Dr. Glass responds in a timely manner and is very considerate, caring and compassionate. She pays attention to detail, she read's "between the lines" and understands what I'm "not" saying. I would highly recommend Dr. Glass to anyone going thru a hard time or just needing someone to talk to.
Valerie is amazing! I feel like she really cares about what I care about and is invested in me. She has a phenomenal memory and asks helpful questions. She's great at both being supportive and challenging me when I need a bit of a push. I give her the highest praise possible!
