My name is Sara and I have a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling, as well as a background in Criminal Justice. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has worked in various settings including clinical mental health centers, juvenile detention centers, and schools. My primary experience has been young adults and family counseling. I have been working in the Criminal Justice field since 2013 and the Counseling field since 2017. I greatly enjoy lending a hand to those in need. It is truly my calling.
I have 7 years experience working in the school system as a counselor, behavioral interventionist, and a social worker. I have worked with children and adolescents ages 4-21. I have worked with students with various diagnosis including, but not limited to: ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and intermittent explosive disorder.
As a child and adolescent, I struggled with anxiety. I can understand and lend a listening ear to those kids that are experiencing similar issues that I did. I am here to let them know that they will make it through the tough times in life if they have the desire to put in the hard work and not give up.
Being a teenager is hard, no matter who you are. But, it is much more difficult to be a teenager when also struggling with mental health issues. Teenagers can benefit from having a connection to someone who has not only been a teenager, but who has been a teenager with mental health issues. I have a unique insight that others who have not have had the same experiences that I have had.

Sara has been fantastic. She respects me and the directions I wants to examine while also making sure to point out perspectives I hadn't considered. Sara is direct and to the point while also tactful. Highly recommend her!
I have tried therapy numerous times in many years. Sara is the first to suggest new ideas to me and helps me feel proud of the small accomplishments. I was sure I had tried it all before meeting her, but she has shown me multiple new things and I feel that I finally have hope.
Sara is amazing!! She’s truly helped strengthen my marriage!
We love our counselor. She is amazing
Sara is professional and very comforting. She is so understanding and listens to my concerns and helps me to understand what path to take not to telling me how, but by helping me to ask the right questions and finding my way. She encourages me so much and gives me the confidence to tackle the problems in my life. She has helped me in so many ways in such a short amount of time. I am not sure I would have been able to without her. But with her, she has given me the skills to handle more decisions in the future. I cannot praise her enough!
I've been with Sara about 2 months now, and she is honestly incredible.
Not only is she discussing my issues with me, listening to my worries, and helping me find ways to fix them; she is also a great laugh, always ready to make you smile and has a smoothie for every situation.
I am so grateful for everything she's doing to help me. Thanks Sara, you're a legend!
She does a great job and while we have had some technical difficulties, she has adapted and helped me out tremendously through a difficult time.
I am very happy with being paired with Sara to help me in my journey of healing and understanding of self at this time in my life. She has been nothing but patient, empathetic, considerate and responsive to my concerns and needs. I would highly recommend her and am very grateful to have been placed with her at this time. Thank you!

I have found a wonderful councellor in sara she truly has been rather amazing and gives me the upmost professional useful and very helpful advise and I can't thank her enough for all the help she has given me and that I continue to reiceve from her truly greatful
Sara has been helping my fiance and I increase our communication skills during a deployment. She has open availability with different ranges which works for us. Sara is able to help us see each other's perspectives and needs respectfully and guiding us on how to work on ourselves. She's the first therapist that has assigned us worksheets to work on and review which I love. I appreciate her resources and her method of listening. She recently has increased her time with Frank and I on the phone which helps significantly to feel like I'm receiving the services I'm paying for. I would highly recommend her expertise. She's saving my relationship from falling apart during a deployment and I thank her for her service.
She's very nice and listens to whatever problems and concerns about my own personal stuff. She's also very open about topics I enjoy to talk about and the past few times on calls we start talking about the most random stuff! I love having her and I'm glad I finally got myself help for my own problems
