About Me

My name is Rebecca Galdo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. My goal is to help those suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and life stressors, learn positive coping strategies, and dive into the root causes of what is causing those unpleasant symptoms. I currently work part-time on Better Help and full time with the aging population, and caregivers who are caring for loved ones with cognitive impairment and end-stage conditions.

In my past work experiences, I had worked with at-risk youth and young adults, and am able to connect with them on an intrapersonal level. I am here to assist with the ongoing stressors and demands social media has put on the youth, and the academic demands that are required. I am here to assist young and young adults in verbalizing their concerns and using effective communication skills in expressing their emotions. I also will work to help the youth to identify and understand their emotions, and how to utilize positive coping strategies such as mindfulness and meditation.

Rebecca as an amazing therapist. She is respectful, non-judgemental, warm and inviting. She is also very insightful and has helped me to realize things I never realized before. I have been to many therapists and she is the only one I have made measurable progress with. She is always there for me, even throughout the week outside of our regularly scheduled sessions. I highly recommend her to anyone thinking of trying therapy

Rebecca is very intelligent and responsive. She not only listens, but helps you process why you say or think certain things, with the goal of eventually changing your behavior for the better. She obviously knows what she’s talking about and has so many resources and tools that she’s always ready and willing to share. I highly recommend her, I have been nothing but impressed and pleased working with her.

Rebecca is a wonderful therapist. She respects and understands me and is a great fit for me. She has a laid back and metaphysical approach to healing and I feel at ease when we meet up. She is knowledgeable and provides external sources for me to read and use. I'm really glad we were matched up and I look forward to continuing therapy with her.
