Paul Mefford is a very competent, empathic and kind therapist. He has helped me alot working through a difficult time in my life.
So far he's been quite patient with me and listening to the different tangents that converge on what's been troubling me. And it's easy to get his point and advice, too.
Paul has helped me so much in showing me different techniques and tools to use when im feeling anxious or not feeling well. He listens thoroughly to what im saying and has very good advice.
Paul is a perfect match for me. I was skeptical because it's been difficult to find the right therapist. I'm really impressed with how the teen counseling site matched me up with someone who checks all of the boxes. Paul's been great in helping me understand where I'm at and helping me get to where I want to be. My first session with him was very emotional for me - I was in crisis mode and Paul was well equipped to respond. He brought me back down to Earth and helped me to see things in the right perspective. Getting past the grief crisis I was in was instrumental in opening the door to work on the real underlying issues. Paul has a very friendly, no nonsense approach and he's very good at what he does. I couldn't be happier and frankly, I really don't know how I'd have gotten through the last couple of weeks without his support.
I am very happy to have Paul as my counselor. He is an excellent listener, suggests different approaches for guidance, whether a book, podcast and article or his own experiences. Whatever it may be, the guidances and tools are very helpful and sometime enjoyable (Interviews or podcasts). Paul is caring and kind and has a way about him that makes you want to tell him everything; without ever feeling judged. I actually look forward to our sessions, which I can say, I have never felt that way about therapy before.....So that's how I know I am well matched with this counselor. I feel fortunate to have connected with Paul. I think a lot about our discussions and can see my growth and progress in a few months time. I highly recommend Paul.
Paul is very helpful
Paul has been very helpful to my husband and I. He has a very calm demeanor that both of us find easy to work with! We would highly recommend him!
Paul is Fantastic . Very nice to talk , full of compassion and love
Simply put: Paul Mefford gets it.
That alone is invalueable. The progess made with the tools he has provided me thus far, in a very short time, is the most I've made in a lifetime with other therapists. Thank you so much.
I couldn’t have wished for a better person to guide us through our relationship issues. Within couple of session we started to deal with our issues in a completely different method than before. He listened to us endlessly and made us realise the importance of one another.
Paul got to the root of my issues within a couple of sessions and I now feel better able to deal with them as they arise. Thanks Paul. 1971.
