About Me
For ten years I provided mental health and Substance abuse treatment to youth ages 13- 19 which included a combination of family, group, and individual therapy. I therapeutically assisted clients with gradually transitioning back to their family environments for in-patient adolescents. The treatment programs help reinforced the value of teen girls and boys to develop while receiving treatment, lowering the chance that adolescents will fall back into old habits.
Therapy is based on shared values plus a shared vision to empower and uplift adolescents.
I am equipped with a variety of creative techniques that promote both verbal and nonverbal expression in a way that is therapeutic rather than stigmatizing. I use creative and developmentally appropriate techniques for assisting in thought, behaviors, and feelings in non-traditional ways. Therapy involves exercises and activities to strengthen the child’s sense of insights that will help them heal from the ongoing repercussions of dealing with their biological and the social pressures put on adolescents by peers and society.
As a Mental Health Counselor, the goal is to empower youth with skills, practices, and insights that will help them heal from the results of their choice and behaviors, adapting to their biological changes, as well as the social pressures put on adolescents by peers and society. I can therapeutically assist your adolescent through this difficult and confusing time of his or her life.
Counseling Consulting, LLC can provide venues for adolescent clients to fully develop and express their thoughts, behaviors and feelings while becoming empowered.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is evidence based with techniques considered an industry standard for resistant teens. Our program comprises components of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for adolescents to actively participate and enhance their communication skills.
I am here to support and empower your adolescent. I look forward to working with your family!

Patient, kind and full of wisdom. I am only at the beginning of the journey, and already feel so empowered and relieved at the same time.
He’s by far the best therapist I’ve ever had, he’s very easy to talk to, and has great insight.
I am so happy with the support we've received. I am relieved.
I feel finding this website has been a Godsend. I heard about it through a podcast. Michael has been wonderful. He is both attentive and reassuring. He has a nice sense of humor as well, I can see how good he is in his field and his professionalism and he balances both with a down to earth, real human being connection.
