About Me
Hi! My name is Kellis and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, Florida. I focused on substance abuse issues as well as anxiety, depression, and trauma. I have been working with clients for over five years and I am constantly learning in order to keep up with out ever changing world. There are times in our lives where the weight of things becomes too much. I can help you work through some of the things that may be blocking your path to success. I can help you work on coping skills, self-esteem, trauma, fear, or something in between.
Being a teen is an especially difficult time. It can feel like no one is able to understand you and the challenges you are facing are unique. This can cause anxiety and depression and continue to cause feelings of isolation. I can offer a judgment free safe zone to talk and work towards your next goal.
Seeking out help is difficult, but you're one step closer today than you were yesterday. Just keep moving forward.

This has been my first experience with therapy and my time with Kellis has been incredible. I can’t even express how much I’ve grown in the last few months. Kellis has helped me work through so many challenges in my career and personal relationships and I’m learning more about myself everyday.
I feel like she understands what my daughter is going through and my daughter really likes her. She is really helping our family
Kellis is responsive and easy to connect with. I have learned so much that has helped me to control the impact depression and anxiety has on my life. Kellis truly cares about me as an individual and is a compassionate counselor, who helps me change my perspective to be a more positive person. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow.
I appreciate her thoughtful responses and the questions she poses to me help me to reflect and discover more about myself.
Kellis has been very patient with me; she has read everything I've written and responded with understanding and validation for my issues/concerns. She tries to meet me where I'm at and work with me in a collaborative way. She has consistently engaged me and encouraged me to reach out whenever needed. She responds to me fairly quickly and shows great care.
Kellis is an amazing listener and helped me keep my priorities straight while dealing with many struggles at one time. She genuinely wants to help, and I’m so glad I ended up in her care.
I felt automatically comfortable speaking with Kellis, which is a huge thing for me. Her calm demeanor makes it easier to talk about my issues and I feel like I’m not being judged. Her areas of expertise paired well with the concerns I want to address in counseling. Thank you so much, Kellis. You are wonderful!
Kellis was everything my partner and I were looking for in a counselor. She puts in the work to understand us and give us the guidance that we needed. She’s always there for us whenever we need her.
