About me

Hello there,

Asking for help takes a lot of courage. So kudos to you for seeking professional help and completing the first step to getting better. Know that you’re not alone. And I am here to support you and your family with any difficult situations.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I have experience working with teens and families as a mental health clinician in the community, hospital, and residential programs. I have worked with teens struggling with depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance use, self harming behaviors, family and relationship problems. I have used phototherapy with teens in order to help teens express their emotions and concerns. My clients generally enjoy this modality and feel comfortable doing a fun activity. I am creative in engaging with teens and I explore different activities that fit their personality to help them stay engaged during our time. With my clients’ permission, I encourage their parents to join in my sessions as I believe their involvement during treatment can help support my clients better and improve your parenting skills.

I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Erica has been very supportive of me during my life’s current transitions. She is very professional and yet lets her personality shine through during our sessions. She is knowledgeable, caring, a good listener, and is very relatable. She provides me with coping tools, resources, and personalized help when needed. I look forward to my weekly sessions with Erica and would recommend her to a friend.
