About me
My name is Emily Dixon and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Through my 14+ years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations. I have worked with Foster/Adoptive Families, Teenagers, Families/Blended Families and Young Children.
Furthermore, I have worked with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief/loss, parenting difficulties, life changes and autism. I offer individual, child, couple and family counseling. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, solution-focused, mindfulness, holistic and motivational. I will offer a supportive, objective, judgement-free environment for my clients. You can expect me to offer compassion and open-mindedness.
I have personal life experience with grief and loss, divorce, parenting and being part of a blended family. I am also a mother who has been through the different stages of development, including the teen stage. I look forward to being a safe space for you as you begin your journey of gaining deeper insight and healing.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Emily Dixon. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Speaking from past experience with therapy sessions, I truly feel like I benefit from it. I also recommend this to my close friends that are dealing with issues.
She listens and pays a lot of attention to details and she remembers information from before to continue a session
I give my therapist a 10.
