I am a licensed clinical social worker in Louisiana. I was a teacher in my earlier years, and have been a school social worker since 2006. I have also worked with young people in community behavioral health, and have learned from all these experiences. Learning how to manage relationships and communicate effectively with others makes the growing-up years much more bearable. Learning tools to help with isolation, peer pressure, anxiety and depression are also powerful in preparing young people to grow up equipped to manage their lives effectively.
I have a young perspective, and a non-judgmental and low-key approach to working with young people. I look forward to working with you and your teen, whether on one specific problem or on some skill-building to help in school, family and community settings.

Deborah is a fantastic counselor! Even though we haven’t been in contact for that long, she has helped me to find several ways to cope with my anxiety and stress, especially keeping in mind that there is a global pandemic right now.
