I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I have worked extensively with teenagers who have experienced behavioral issues, emotional problems, mental health concerns, and substance abuse problems. I understand as a parent as well as a therapist the importance of teenagers getting the necessary help they need prior to additional consequences developing. I appreciate you taking the opportunity to consider me as your child's therapist and believe we can work on allowing your teenager to be the best version of themselves. I check messages sent to me once or twice daily. I also have to have a balance between work and life. My availability is typically evenings (excluding Tuesday and Saturday) but I do offer extensive Sunday openings as well as openings once daily at around noon east standard time.

David is very personable and easy to talk to. He provides answers in a timely manner while helping you work through your situations. He feels like a non bias friend
David Martino is an excellent counselor, I've noticed a change in my son for the better thanks to weekly sessions.
His understanding and forward approach really helped me through things going on in my life. Great listener and provides insight to the answers you already know. Highly recommend.
David is amazing. He really listens to what you're saying and tries to understand the situation as best as he can to give rational feedback that makes you feel understood and that you matter. These sessions not only help me understand little by little where I need to work on in my life, but after my first session I already felt more confidence in myself to get through the situation that I'm going through. He validates you in the most human way that people need out of life.
David has been very understanding and level headed when he speaks to me. He gives me very practical and applicable advise and techniques on how to cope with my anxiety. My favorite part is that I feel like I'm talking to a friend and a professional at the same time. This allows me be to free when speaking to him and I don't feel like I hold back because of this reason.
David Martino is an exceptional therapist that has been able to overcome the glass walls I had surrounding me and once they came down, we were able to dive into the root of my issues. There are people who you may stumble across that can change the direction of your life; David is one of those people. Truly grateful.
Hes great. He listens to me and doesn't make me feel invalidated and talks in a way that doesn't feel detached or makes me feel wierd talking to him like it has with past therapists.
Understands where to poke. Very important in a counselor.
He is extremely kind and very realistic he doesn’t seem patronizing and often is good at maintaining an environment of respect. He is great at responding and very helpful.
It took 4 different counselors to finally have my situation addressed. David is very timely and attentive to everything I am experiencing, as well as non-judgmental.
David has been great
