About Me

Hi there! I am a licensed clinical social worker who understands what the tough years of 13-19 years old feels like. I am a caring, compassionate, funny, and positive clinician passionate about helping teens and young adults cope with these tough years in a safe, non-judgmental clinical setting. I remember not feeling apart of the "in-crowd," or "down with the clique," growing up. I remember the pressures of feeling accepted, while completing all school requirements, and being a child in a home where I had absolutely no control or say-so in what happened. I have over 17 years experience working with teens and young adults cope with depression, stress, anxiety, acceptance, relationships, and trauma. I use mindfulness techniques, some EMDR, and CBT as part of my treatment, but most of all, I am here to listen. Like really listen, so you feel cared for and heard as I provide hope and validation.
