Parents I have 25 years’ experience as a Clinical Social Worker with children, adolescents and young adults recovering from trauma, emotional or behavioral challenges and with educational or work-related issues in schools, group homes, rural health care clinics and military facilities. This platform allows a remote/tech friendly video and messaging interchange between your child and there therapist and you and the therapist. I use cognitive behavioral therapy primarily to help change the thought process and help different actions occur. Parents, some kids get lost in school scheduling, schoolwork, relationships, identity, gender identity, planning for the next school/future, and they need a non judgmental and objective individual to just listen. I can help point you and your child in the right direction and make the steps to a solution understandable and doable. Many young people feel lost when they get into upper grades. No one prepares you for what to do if, you cannot find a job, boy or girlfriend, group of friends right away. It is not unusual to get overwhelmed and even paralyzed, and just do nothing. Rather than being fearful of what is to come, we can change your way of thinking and help you embrace the adventure ahead of you. Are you interested in taking apart all of the tasks and make things feel more manageable? Rather than dreading talking with and living with your parents, let us work on changing it into something tolerable and maybe even beneficial. We can work towards helping all family relationships and interchanges be more positive. Let's can get your teen out of the room and talking with you again. Would you like to be able to help your teen, make a step by step plan with short and long term goals ? Do you want your child to be able to control what they can, without everything feeling out of control? Do you want your child to feel like people hear what you want and need? Do you want your child to feel more confident and organized in your school/job search ? Looking for a different and more personal therapy experience, here it is! I will work with you and your child to target change points, develop a plan where progress is seen within 8 sessions. Lets’ get you and your teen on the right track today!

I have been working with Tina for almost 7 months. And those 7 months were the hardest I had in years. With Tinas guidance and wisdom I found out things about me I have put deep down and tried to forget about. I learned skills to help me and calm my anxiety and depression. I honestly couldn’t have gone this far this year or even made it. I want to say thank you for listening to me and being the only person for a while that believed me.
Tina has been very kind and understanding when listening to me just sort of overshare, and as someone who is used to pushing down emotions, it's really nice to feel as if someone actually wants to listen to what I have to say, as well as trying to find ways to move towards correcting negative behaviors that are inherently harmful to me. I especially appreciate how she validates my feelings on situations whenever I feel as if I'm being overdramatic. It's always nice to feel heard, and I feel like she definitely hears me.
Tina is very understanding. She lets you know if you have options to take action or she gives really good advice and wonderful articles to read. I’m glad i was matched to her.
This is my first experience and I appreciate you working with me and taking these baby steps with me.
I just recently started working with her. On some very embarrassing things about my own psyche. She is very respectful. Replies fast. Gives me hope. I hope to learn and grow more as the time goes by with her help. Thank you.
Tina has been an incredible counselor. I’ve learned ways to work myself through and out of anxiety and depression, and remapped old traumas. Amazing work. So grateful to have found her at this time.
Tina is approachable, results-oriented and just what I needed during a Pandemic! She's helped me find tools and approaches to help with my anxiety. I highly recommend Tina!
Tina is very helpful and provides a lot of resources to address your needs.
It’s early in the therapy, but Tina has shined through a very rigorous “interview” process with me before I even spoke with her. She has the experience and wherewithal to help me continue to improve my mental health!
Tina has been amazing. I feel like this is the only way to do counseling. The constant contact is so beneficial unlike only have 1 weekly session.
Tina is extraordinary! I love counseling with Tina! She’s helped me so much I highly recommend her!
Tina is caring and a great listener. She is available when you need her and provides the tools needed for your situation to reach your goal.
Tina is wonderful at what she does! She listens and understands and really helps get through whatever issues you might be going through. She is personable and compassionate.
I think Tina is great!
Thus far, I'm very happy with Tina's outreach and work on my behalf. It's still early in our time together, but I feel very positive.
I feel teen counseling did a great job matching a counselor that could relate to my life especially my profession. She listens very well and sends worksheets that help with my specific issues. She also will touch base with me daily if I need it which is great!
Tina has been an integral part in working through a really tough time in my life. She is understanding and knowledgeable and has been a huge help to me!
