About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 7 years’ experience working with adolescents, parents, and families. I have worked with clients who have struggled with family conflict, relationship and social issues, and mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma. Most of my experience is working with teenagers, ages 13-18, and have trouble at home, school or within their environment.

My approach is empathetic, validating and warm. I value the importance of having a trusting, open relationship, and believe that all deserve dignity and respect. I believe it is important to be flexible and adaptive regarding my approach, in order to best meet your needs. I have experience with using dialectic behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing.

Tina is an excellent counselor. She is very knowledgeable and comforting. Tina doesn’t judge me or make me feel bad. She has lots of great exercises to help you get through anything. I would highly recommend her. 10/10

My son is responding really well to Tina. He takes a while to warm up to new people, so we are so pleased that he felt comfortable with Tina so quickly.
