Tessa Burris

About Me

I am an outdoor enthusiast that loves to take Luna (my dog) out on adventures. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My main areas of therapeutic focus are trauma and mental health and substance use disorders. I have specifically worked with adolescents with substance use disorder for the past year. I am certified in trauma informed yoga and believe in bringing body awareness and mindfulness practices to enhance traditional outpatient treatment

I believe we all have a unique story and experiences that we should share. My main approach to therapy is client-centered and work with the client to create a respectful and compassionate atmosphere that promotes open communication. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I am thankful you are here looking for support. We are here for you! I look forward to getting to know you.

Be well!
