I am an experienced child and adolescent counseling with experience helping this population to learn ways to control anger, frustration, behavioral and impulsiveness. I have over 20 years of working with children and adolescents as group home counselors to my current position as a Licensed Professional counseling for 6 years. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help a child change the way they act by changing how they think, feel and react. I have several years of teaching children how to be respectful, considerate, compliant and in control of their behaviors. Being a child is not always easy and it gets worst when your child struggles with anger, aggression and/or mental illness makes it even harder. I would like to be given an opportunity to change the way your children behave and teach coping skills to help them be happier, function well in school, community and at home to have a successful adult life. I counsel on follow rules, being respectful. school issues, social skills, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality, Bipolar Disorder and any disorders or life events that has been causing problems in the life of your child.
I look forward to help your child in any way you and him feels is needed for him or her to successfully function in life.

I loved our sessions together. She has a very open minded way about the way she sees things but also brings the aspect of God in a way that I needed. More loving and nurturing than judgmental and pretentious. I always felt safe to share all my beef and not be judged by her.
Teresa has been prompt and professional while also being down to earth and easy to talk to.
