About me
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with over 10 years of experience working as a Mental Heath Coordinator with Adult and Children and 6 years of experience working as a Social Worker in Child Protective Services. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, child/parent relationship issues, being in foster care, and ADHD. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe in starting where the client is and developing a working treatment plan to meet each client needs.
It takes effort and endurance to want a change for a better life; therapy can be the first step to a better you. As a counselor I would help you to the best of my abilities to learn coping skills, overcome challenges, and become the best you.

Tamiko has been very effective in assisting my daughter, Avarie. They meet on their own schedule, but we've seen improvements in our relationship with our daughter.
