About Me

Hey!

Congrats on beginning your online therapy journey with us!! My name is Stephanie and I'm a licensed therapist from Salt Lake. I got my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Utah University (go T-birds!) and received my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from La Salle University in Philadelphia (Go birds again!).

The majority of my work has been working with addiction which includes lots of depression, anxiety too . I've also done a lot of family therapy and couples counseling with young adults as well as coaching life skills and communication skills.

I was trained working with inner-city school kids in Philadelphia and learned how to help kids with their worry and anxiety. Then later I worked with kids who lived with their grandparents and other family cause their own parents struggled with drugs or being locked up. I really like showing people how their thoughts and feelings are related to their behavior and if I can do it with some fun activities, even better! I love getting creative with my therapy techniques and interventions because it makes therapy more fun and why couldn't it be?

I wish the best of luck to you on this journey! You deserve it and things do get better!

Stephanie is a blessing for the whole family. To know that my daughter has someone that she can reach out to whenever she needs, is a great resource in those difficult times. I know my daughter is in good hands and I am always happy about Stepahnie's feedback and so is my daughter. I can see that the regular sessions give her stability and the app makes it easy for her as well. The different time zones (we live across the Atlantic) are also in our favour, since our daughter can reach out at night, when she is thinking about her problems and gets a response right away. - I can highly recommend her.

I’ve worked with Stephanie for a few months and she is very understanding and helpful. I’m very comfortable talking about things that bother me, I struggle with, and I get hung up on. I always feel better, motivated, and understood after every interaction with Stephanie. She helps me see what the problem is, identify the causes and solutions. I would definitely recommend Stephanie to other people.

Stephanie has been wonderful. My girlfriend and I have been going through a lot of stress lately and she has helped us grow out relationship and learn to focus on what matters. Stephanie is always a great listener and provides good insight into the roots of my girlfriend and I's disagreements.

Stephanie does a wonderful job helping my significant other and I. She is easily able to get us both to understand where each other are coming from, and healthy ways to manage difficult situations. I would highly recommend her.

Stephanie is very flexible with her appointment times, since we scheduling from a different time zone. She is always on time and ready to listen. She asks the appropriate questions to help open up conversation and to help find proactive solutions to issues. Her demeanor is very comforting and I find it very easy to open up to her, even about topics most would find embarrassing. Thank you Stephanie for what you do!

It's really been helping me to talk to her, she's very friendly and it doesn't seem like I'm talking to a stranger at all, more like a friend who has some more experience in and knowledge about dealing with the stuff I'm going through
