About Me
Hey!
Congrats on beginning your online therapy journey with us!! My name is Stephanie and I'm a licensed therapist from Salt Lake. I got my Bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Utah University (go T-birds!) and received my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from La Salle University in Philadelphia (Go birds again!).
The majority of my work has been working with addiction which includes lots of depression, anxiety too . I've also done a lot of family therapy and couples counseling with young adults as well as coaching life skills and communication skills.
I was trained working with inner-city school kids in Philadelphia and learned how to help kids with their worry and anxiety. Then later I worked with kids who lived with their grandparents and other family cause their own parents struggled with drugs or being locked up. I really like showing people how their thoughts and feelings are related to their behavior and if I can do it with some fun activities, even better! I love getting creative with my therapy techniques and interventions because it makes therapy more fun and why couldn't it be?
I wish the best of luck to you on this journey! You deserve it and things do get better!

Stephanie is very flexible with her appointment times, since we scheduling from a different time zone. She is always on time and ready to listen. She asks the appropriate questions to help open up conversation and to help find proactive solutions to issues. Her demeanor is very comforting and I find it very easy to open up to her, even about topics most would find embarrassing. Thank you Stephanie for what you do!
Thank you. Just knowing there is someone I can message has helped a lot.
Stephanie is great in helping our teenage daughter getting through a very rough time. After every session with Stephanie, my daughter comes into my room, glowing and she can't wait to tell me all about it. She has not had that in previous therapies. As a parent I also feel very supported by Stephanie as well. I can write to her and she responds quickly and is always helpful. I am glad we found this page and that we got matched with the right person for us.
It's really been helping me to talk to her, she's very friendly and it doesn't seem like I'm talking to a stranger at all, more like a friend who has some more experience in and knowledge about dealing with the stuff I'm going through
