About Me

In addition to private practice with children and teenagers, since 2004 I have worked as an At-Risk High School Counselor, a Middle School Counselor, and an Alternative School Counselor. I have experience working in residential treatment facilities and with juvenile and children and protective services. I have a wide range of knowledge in the areas of academic success, the 504 and IEP process, and social and behavioral issues.

I specialize in adolescents with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, learning disabilities, family and/or social conflict, disruptive behavior, homelessness, academic difficulty, anger management, and relational aggression. I also have expertise in college and career readiness, alternative learning, and study skills implementation.

I would be happy to work with your teenager to improve their relationships, develop confidence to enjoy their school experience, and get the most benefit from it, and assist them in finding direction for their future!

I am so happy I reached out to get the help I need to maintain healthy boundaries without feeling guilty about it. I’m still a work in process but if there’s one thing I’d recommend in life, it’s to get Therapy to help you!

Stephanie is highly empathetic and understanding - she is a great listener! I'm so grateful I had her help across some difficult family situations as she helped me set boundaries with folks who were exhibiting inappropriate behavior. Her advice, pointers, and recommendations helped me have a clearer mindset around the situation and let me get in touch with my needs so I could better protect my family. Thank you, Stephanie!!!!

It feels very good to feel heard and validated. I have avoided therapy so I would not have to think about the past, but I am glad that after my first few sessions that it isn't bad at all.

Stephanie is thoughtful, warm, and an excellent listener. She picks up on nuances and synthesizes and reflects back in a way that supports my processing. She’s also knowledgeable about ADHD and trauma, which is invaluable!

Stephanie Morlan is an amazing counselor and has helped me out quite a bit. She's very patient, and knows how to deal with someone in distress, so I would advise her for anyone who's depressed or needs to talk to a professional who knows their stuff. She's good :)
