Stacy Archer

About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (LMFT) and have a specialization in Children and Adolescents. In 2003, I began working at a non-profit organization with at risk youth and their families. This gave me experience working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting, trauma, abuse, relationship issues, and crisis intervention. In 2015, I moved on to do private practice with children, teens, individuals, couples, and families. In furthering my professional development, I read therapy related journals, attend conferences and trainings, stay up to date on law and ethics, and practice daily self-care.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, and solution focused. I am an open-minded person by nature and have a great sense of humor. My approach combines person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and family systems. If interested, I use many forms of art and experiential therapy in order to better help teens express themselves. I use active listening, empathy, and compassion to form a therapeutic bond and will customize a treatment plan to meet your individualized goals.

I believe that you are the expert in your life, and I am here to support you in creating a framework for change. It takes self-awareness and courage to know that you need support and with some guidance, happiness is soon to follow. If you are ready to feel empowered, I am here to help you live your very best life.

I look forward to working with you!

Making progress and surfacing current needs

Stacy worked with my son on developing independence, socialization, and healing after a divorce. She identified a family dynamic I was unaware of that I can now work on to repair to help both me and my son.
