I am Sherell Taylor-Page, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Inglewood, California. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in 2006. My experience includes working with juveniles from ages 13-19 in an inpatient residential treatment facility that struggled with the affects of physical abuse, addiction, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, insomnia, and trauma. The journey has been both personally and professionally rewarding.
I take an eclectic/integrative approach to therapy. It is important to meet clients where they are and I believe in blending elements of different therapeutic approaches and tailoring them to meet the client’s individual needs. When working with teens, I prefer the use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoanalytic Therapy. These therapeutic approaches assist is addressing a multitude of behavior and emotional issues the youth are faced with on a daily basis.
I enjoy helping young people reach their full potential. My goal is to build rapport with the youth in order to gain their trust and provide them with therapy that will help better their overall behavior and functioning in an empathetic, warm, and non-judgmental environment. I look forward to working with your teen and helping then meet their therapeutic goals.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Sherell is amazing. So kind, easy to talk to, offers positive reinforcement, suggestions. My teen has been to a variety of therapists and Sherell by far exceeds our expectations. Our teen looks forward to their weekly conversations and really feels like she has an advocate on her side.
As always Sherell listens. Not like doctors or other people who say they are listening but are just waiting for their chance to interrupt you and give you advice assuming you will then realize just how smart they are.
Sherell listens to me, for as long as I feel like talking and hears what I am really saying.
Sherell is so insightful and very ecletic in her approach. I have learned alot about myself in working with her. She is an asset to me and my family . I am so thankful I found her!
Sherell is my much-needed sounding board and anchor. I always feel so much less stressed after we talk.
Sherell has made a huge impact in my life! I was one of the lowest, darkest times of my life when I started therapy with teen counseling, and Sherell has always been so consistent, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I am so thankful to have her as my counselor!
Sherell is THE BEST! She is kind, thoughtful, funny, always professional, always helpful, and she has helped me grow so much. I’ve definitely had times in the past where I felt therapy wasn’t for me but Sherell is the perfect therapist and has made me love and appreciate the process. She’s awesome!
Sherell since the first moment I met her has been great. She really listens and has good insight and asks the questions I need. I’m working on being an ACA and healing from other family trauma. She is caring and makes sure you feel safe and recognized. If you want someone to laugh with you and be the open ear you need totally choose her. I often laugh at my trauma and I enjoy that she laughs sometimes with me(defs not all, sometimes she looks a lil worried for me) but then follows up with some insight
I’m a few weeks in working with Sherell, and she is amazing! Really listens and responds quickly. I asked her a number of areas I wanted to cover and she sent very thoughtful responses to all of them. Super friendly and made me feel comfortable over video chat as well. Looking forward to continuing working with her!
She absolutely amazing I would highly recommend her
She is great.
Sherell has been a beacon of hope that there is a way out of the anguish and turmoil I’ve been dealing with for years. I’m so glad we found her. It took her about 10 mins to nail our root conflict on the head. (We couldn’t communicate it ourselves but once she said it we knew she was right. We’ve also been in counseling before with no real change, so having her understand the issue so quickly and accurately was amazing). Since we’ve started with Sherell, she has worked out a roadmap for us fixing and moving our relationship in the right direction. Hopeful and looking forward to results of working with Sherell.
Sherell is excellent! She is a great listener and creates an open space to share. She is friendly, professional, and exhibits much patience and kindness. I highly recommend Sherell!!
Sherell is one of the most amazing women of God I’ve met! She always is attentive to whenever I vent, has great feedback, and is amazingly compassionate. She has helped me open my eyes to new concepts and insights, I’m grateful she’s my assigned counselor!
She is very empathetic, kind, and is a deep listener! Her messages are so sincere and make my day. I’m happy to have been matched with her!
Sherell Taylor-Page has been wonderful to talk to. She helps me whittle my anxieties down to their beginnings and work on the root of them. She offers many different types of tools to use when I am anxious that have helped immensely. She is supportive of actions I would like to take and helps me to take those next steps. I would highly recommend her.
Sherell is amazing, especially with understanding concerns involving teenagers. She listens so well!
She's understanding and makes you feel comfortable and safe to talk to about anything. I highly recommend her and im happy i have her as my counselor
We are very happy with Sherell. It’s taken some time for us to dig deeper in our issues but find her methods effective.
Sherell is a great listener and takes the time to understand your concerns rather than jump straight to offering advice, which I appreciate. She allows you to decide what you want to talk about during sessions, and is good about following up on prior topics later on in the week via messaging. She is compassionate and empathetic, and very easy to talk to. Would recommend.
She is a phenomenal therapist and has a great personality
We have been very happy with Sherrell. She is compassionate and easy to talk to, and has helped give us practical steps to work on the things we struggle with, individually and as a couple. We look forward to our sessions with her, and highly recommend!
