Hello, my name is Shauna Pichette and I graduated with a master's degree in 2015. I am fully licensed in the state of WI. I have worked with teens/children throughout the time since I graduated. During this time, I specialized in life transitions, OCD, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I have experience in family counseling and parenting skills. I consider myself an ally for LGBT and minorities. The treatment approaches that I specialize in are CBT-based, including DBT, ERP, and TF-CBT.
My clinical framework is CBT, but my interpersonal approach is to be warm and candid. I believe everyone’s experience is valid. My goal is not to blame or shame, but rather to support you in understanding your own behavior and motives and find the strength to change within yourself. I believe in transparency as well. Although I am the counseling professional, you are the professional on yourself. My goal is to help you tap into that and give you the tools to succeed.
I hope that you find my approach helpful, and I look forward to working with you!

Shauna is one of the first counselors that I have enjoyed working with and I feel understood. This has been a hard season for me and I am glad I have her to get me through it.
My counseling experience with Shauna has been wonderful! She provided great guidance and ideas for dealing with my ADHD and symptoms of anxiety & depression. I'm very grateful that I had her helping me this past couple of months, especially with all of the COVID-19 craziness. It also helped me better approach my primary care NP as well for a change in my medication, and it's been working very well!
Shauna is amazing. I don’t know where I would be without her.
Shauna has helped me more than I could’ve possibly imagined over just a couple months so far.
I appreciate the time effort and empathy that I have received since the beginning of this journey. And although sometimes I struggle to see my progress I know I’m improving.
Shauna is great! She responds in a way that is beneficial to both my son and I as well as the rate in which she responds to us as well. Always prompt and always provides us with the tools we need to work through this together and on his own. We have noticed a change in all of our relationships at home and socially.
I have been talking with Shauna for a pretty short amount of time and can already tell I have changed. She has helped me realize so much about myself and how I respond to situations that I wasn't even aware of. Shauna has been a huge help for me and I can't thank her enough for the excellent job she is doing.
I’ve only been working with Shauna for about two weeks but she is helping me tremendously. Having her to talk to everyday is exactly what I needed. She answers all of my questions and is helping me get to a much better place mentally!
