I have spent approximately 12 years working with parents, families, and children (ages 13 and up) engaging in a flexible and eclectic approaches to helping parents learn and incorporate new parenting skills, techniques, and interventions to successfully make changes they wanted to make within themselves and their children. I have worked closely with families via in-person and Telehealth sessions as an IHT (In-home therapist) both individually and with CBHI teams that included therapeutic mentors, family partners, ICC, and other therapist. I have an extensive background working with teens experiencing personal struggles with gender identity, sexual preference, depression, anxiety, anger management, and other related needs and/or deficits.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Robert Moore Jr.. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Bob came into my life at just the right time. I began with another therapist. But I soon came to understand that he was not the right fit. Since Bob and I are about the same age, we found we had some commonalities. But more than that, he listened to me and provided examples of things I could try that made sense to me without judgement. Bob is always positive. But he honestly shares with me truth and what I need to hear. He's a great guy and therapist.
Robert is great therapist. He’s helped me through a lot, and from the start he always asked the right questions. I feel very lucky to have ended up with a therapist as good as him.
He is wonderful
A Fantastic Experience.
Listens with compassion and empathy. Gives concise strategies for problem solving when appropriate, left me feeling hopeful and understood after each session.
Bob has been wonderful to work with! My boyfriend & I genuinely look forward to & enjoy our sessions with him. He’s very easy to talk to, makes us both feel very comfortable. He offers a lot of support & great advice/solutions for any situation we’re dealing with. For anyone looking for a good therapist Bob is definitely one of the best!
Dr. Bob is great at listening to whatever you want to talk about and has extensive knowledge at his disposal to provide you with a variety of sources of information and perspective. He’s kind, non-judgmental, and has a good sense of humor!
I really was not up for therapy. I don't really like the idea. I'm happy I did. Robert is very down to earth but knows how to cut through to find the roots of my issues. Very insightful and helpful. He does show that he truly does care. I was highly recommend him..
Really fortunate and thankful to have Bob in our lives. Can’t imagine a more intuitive and perceptive expert.
Have only met a few times, but have found the guidance I’ve gotten so far to be very helpful. I look forward to our sessions and the future that is in store for me.
Robert is very honest and he is understanding. He does not sugarcoat anything. He listens and tell you where you are right and wrong. He is the best
Bob Moore is a competent and caring therapist. It is apparent that he is confident in his practice and his strength is in his ability to listen intently. Bob offers thoughtful and clinically appropriate advice . He is also a kind person which is so beneficial when helping a person with the online counseling experience. I highly recommend Bob.
My daughter has only had two sessions but so far she clearly feels heard and listened to. Her reaction to her sessions: “. He is really funny and easy to talk to, and has experience in the LGBTQ community”. My daughter really wants to talk to us, and does, but she is exploring her identity and coming to lots of conclusions. In this my husband and I are glad that we can offer her another place to strengthen her voice and confidence. Sometimes we feel it is hard to keep up and we want to make sure she feels validated and there are no long term hits to her self esteem. So far this is helping! She is relieved and also launching many new friendships at school that have been happening but she now is actively making her own social plans. Things are coming together. Thank you Robert!
Robert is an informal and thoughtful counselor who helps me puzzle through critical conversations and avoid stepping into ‘it’ in the heat of the moment
