My daughter has only had two sessions but so far she clearly feels heard and listened to. Her reaction to her sessions: “. He is really funny and easy to talk to, and has experience in the LGBTQ community”. My daughter really wants to talk to us, and does, but she is exploring her identity and coming to lots of conclusions. In this my husband and I are glad that we can offer her another place to strengthen her voice and confidence. Sometimes we feel it is hard to keep up and we want to make sure she feels validated and there are no long term hits to her self esteem. So far this is helping! She is relieved and also launching many new friendships at school that have been happening but she now is actively making her own social plans. Things are coming together. Thank you Robert!

Robert is an informal and thoughtful counselor who helps me puzzle through critical conversations and avoid stepping into ‘it’ in the heat of the moment
