About Me

Are you feeling disconnected from your teen/parent? Do you feel like no one understands? Do you long for connection but are not sure where to begin? My name is Becky and I am a licensed professional counselor. I have worked with a diverse adolescent/young adult clientele with a wide range of issues that lead to feelings of disconnection including relationship issues, anxiety, loss, life transitions, family conflict, trauma, low self-esteem, and autism/developmental disorders.

I believe healing happens in relationship to others and that developing a working relationship with a counselor can be the first step to reconnecting with yourself, loved ones, higher power, and/or world. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I use an eclectic blend of therapy techniques with the goal to find a style that best meets the needs and personality of my clients.

“You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
― Winnie the Pooh

I am here and ready to listen when you are ready to be heard. Look forward to working with you!

I must admit, as a counselor myself it was hard to truly open up. Rebecca has been amazing for me and my well being. I appreciate her expertise and I value her professional thoughts. She has given me a variety of ways to address the concerns I have regarding the things I’m dealing with. I have referred many friends and colleagues to her. I have only had 2 sessions and I can see improvement in my mood already. I am grateful for this experience in addressing my mental health needs.

I’m beyond happy I joined, and even happier that I was matched with someone like Rebecca. I didn’t initially know what I needed, just help, but she is exactly what I needed in a therapist to help me figure that out. She is attentive, understanding, safe, kind, professional, and absolutely knows her stuff. I do extremely well with her helping me navigate my issues, as well as give me guidance and new ways/techniques for me to stand on my own two feet. Happier and healthier than ever before. I could not give enough thanks for services like this, and people like Rebecca for being there.
