About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with over 8 years of experience working with individuals who have suffered trauma and loss. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, PTSD, career challenges, end of life, and grief. I also help many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. This includes traumatic amputees and traumatic brain injury.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines Mindfulness, Somatic, Cognitive Behavioral, Client-Focused, and Solution-Focused therapies. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe in a holistic approach to mind and body healing and adapt to what your needs are.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Rachel has been fantastic so far!!! She helps me unravel my messy balls of yarn in my mind and to fix them more with every session. She listens well and gives tips on what may help. So far loving this experience.
