Thank you for taking a moment to read my profile. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 9 years of counseling experience working in schools, non profits, private practice and hospitals. I have been formally trained in a variety of therapy methods including Trauma Focused therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy, Attachment based therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I have spent my career working primarily with children, adolescents and their families and have a passion in working with concerns related to family and parenting issues, attachment issues, trauma, relationship issues, depression and anxiety. I also have experience working with teens in crisis.
My counseling style is warm and welcoming. I believe in treating you and your child with respect, understanding and creating a non-judgmental space. Teenagers can be difficult to get to open up and I believe in spending time in making your child feel comfortable and that the therapy is about them and worthwhile. I will tailor our time together to meet you and your child's specific needs and goals. Thank you for your considering me to be a part of the journey to a happier and fuller life for your child and your family. Please let me know how I may be able to help.

She is an excellent listener who shows genuine care and concern for your well-being, asks insightful questions and encourages a healthy self-dialog to sort through struggles, and gently guides you through them. I highly recommend her!

She is kind, considerate and knowledgeable We are so thankful for her help.
Piper is an amazing therapist , I have only been working with her a short period of time and love every session even if they can be hard. I’ve been through hundreds of hours of therapy in patient and outpatient and have never been able to clearly grief and I can honestly say that I am taking steps in that process
Piper has been wonderful for me. I look forward to our sessions and I feel better after we speak
