About me

Psychotherapy can sometimes be a scary word, but it is what I do. My therapy approach is client-centered, solution-focused, and holistic with a healthy dose of positive psychology. What does this mean? It simply means that there is a therapeutic alliance between therapist and client and we decide together what is best for you. It means we focus on finding the best solution to remove the barriers that you are facing; sometimes it’s important to consider all pillars of health; and we create an environment to support your strengths.
Yeah, sure sometimes we need to talk about the past in order to acknowledge where you’ve been so we can get a clear vision of where you need to go, but the focus will always be on getting to a happier, healthier you!
I firmly believe that with a little guidance anyone is capable of discovering their courage, their strength, and their power to step into the life they desire, the life they were truly meant for…a life full of passion, excitement, abundant joy, and flowing income with optimal health, satisfying relationships, and complete fulfillment.
With that all said, I thoroughly enjoy working with a variety of clients including teens and families. I have a vast experience working with families and teens including but not limited to the following situations: foster care, trauma, transitions, LGBTQIA+, and general pressures of being a teen as well as difficulties in parenting and/or relationship strain between parents/teens.

I have really enjoyed my time working with Nina. She has listened, been easy to talk to, asked timely questions. I still have a long way to go but I feel my experience with her has helped me through some tough times so far and she is helping me to continue working on myself.
