About Me

Growing up is tough! While the body is already going through all sorts of wacky changes, our thoughts and feelings are also tumbling through a gamut of new experiences. Feeling awkward and unsure of yourself is not unfamiliar to me. It's easy for young people to become disengaged, fall behind in school or work, or have trouble making friends. I work with young people struggling with anxiety, depression, ADD, grief, trauma, low self-esteem or lack of confidence, and self-awareness issues. Parents and teachers, you might see these ailments manifest as behavioral misconduct, poor school performance, acting-out, social issues, or disengagement.

They don't have to go through it alone! It doesn't have to feel like the worst thing ever to get through the day. My method of therapy is a colorful array of therapeutic interventions that are customized to suit your child's lifestyle, needs, personality, and interests. I specialize in Expressive Art Therapy with a CBT and person-centered approach. Through creative therapy services, I can help young people learn to face their challenges and discomforts with confidence and curiosity! Feelings of sadness, anger, stress, confusion, anxiety or loneliness can be more easily navigated with an increase in self-awareness, a boost of positivity, and an infusion of self-expression. My clients learn to address their deepest problems through this unique growth process and will navigate their day to day with greater confidence, positivity, and hope.

I have a Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Denver, CO. I have additional training in Somatic and Intuitive Energy Psychotherapy and love to integrate some fun & modern techniques in my work. I celebrate everyone's unique self and openly welcomes all colors, creeds, beliefs, and abilities. I am also a proud LGBTQ ally!

Absolutely amazing! Helps me out a bunch and even though it’s her job, she listens and provides support/advice better than anyone else I’ve ever met!

Nicole has helped me in more ways than I can count. Even after one or two sessions, I could tell she really cared and respected my feelings, and she supported me every step of the way in overcoming my anxiety. It hasn't disappeared, but she taught me many ways to overcome it and use it positively. Thank you, Nicole!

I’ve only had a few sessions so far but each one leaves me feeling so much better. It’s like having my own personalized Ted Talks every week! And knowing I have access to the chat feature is a wonderful safety net if I need to get something off my chest or ask for non-urgent advice.

I’m really thankful to have someone like Nicole! For the first time I have someone who understands what I’ve been going through, while it can be overwhelming for others. She’s very open minded and has a positive outlook making it easy to talk to her about anything and everything. I’m happy I chose this site and I’d recommend her to anyone
