Natasha Georges

About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York and North Carolina with 10 years of experience working with diverse groups. My clients have included children as young as 5 years old, pre-teens, teenagers, adults, and families. A large part of my career has included working in residential facilities with youth, conducting support groups for teenagers with self-esteem challenges, individual therapy with teenagers suffering from depression, suicidal ideation, grief, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, among other presented concerns. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, Client Centered and Motivational Interviewing approaches to guide you in achieving your goals.

My counseling style is empathetic and transparent as I recognize everyone has a journey and a story to tell. I am not here to judge your story but I am here to help you walk through it and write your next chapter as you would like it written. I challenge you to follow through on your goals and explore your thoughts deeper. I’m here to listen and learn from you.

Being here is a first step and if you are ready to go further, I would be honored to support you on your new journey!

Ms. Georges is extremely professional but also personal in her style and conversation. I am a much happier Mother knowing my daughter has someone I trust to confide in.
