About me
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kentucky for 6 years. I have spent most of that time working as a Counselor in a high school. I have extensive knowledge in working with family of origin issues, emotional and behavioral disorder, substance abuse. As the proud parent of two adopted sons I understand the foster care system and the adoption process. I have raised 4 boys. All four were from the foster care system. I adopted two of them. I work with clients to help the overcome the challenges they maybe facing with support, understanding but also with direct approach that challenges errors in thinking. My experience ranges from working as a Counselor to the incarcerated to working in a high school, to working with kids who are in the juvenile justice system.
I have spent most of my adult life helping clients adjust to their new realities or helping them create a better future. I look forward to working with you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Morris David Kyle. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
David Kyle Morris is a very great therpist. I highly recommend if you are going through grief and experience depression or annexity
Great therapist.
Morris always knows how to give me guidance and really think about the certain situations I am in.
David has been incredible to work with, helping me find my voice and self-confidence. Truly don’t know where I’d be without him. Thank you, David.
David is very personable and easy to talk to. I never felt like I would be judged in anything I say. He listens, understands and provides new perspectives. I highly recommend him.
Mr. Morris has made an outstanding connection with my son and relates well to him.
I never really figured therapy would be for me, mostly because I think most people are full of shit. I had tried doing therapy before but I found more often then not, there wasn't anything organic about the conversations, I felt like I was talking to a person reading from a textbook. What I appreciated most about talking to Morris is that I was having a conversation, it didn't feel like a questionnaire being filled out. I didn't always have a lot to say, but when I did, he would leave me with something to meditate on, or a task to see through. It has made the overall experience quite engaging. I can't speak for anybody else, but I can say quite honestly, Morris is fucking great at his job. He has definitely helped me along my path of engaging with myself and the world around me with more ease.
He is a great therapist, seems to know me better than I know myself
David is excellent, friendly, professional, and very understanding. Applying his advice to my life just after two sessions has changed my perspective dramatically and will continue to use it in the future. Thank you for everything!
Extremely helpful, considerate and understanding.
David is a great counselor! I’ve had a couple of sessions with him now and he knows his stuff. He understands me, respects me, and is open and honest with me. He is very good at active listening and understanding my concerns and he does so well with all aspects that I’ve seen him work from.
