Being a teenager is hard! There are so many challenges to navigate socially, academically and in learning new interactions with parents, siblings and friends while maturing. All of these complex changes can cause anxiety, depression, difficulty with self-esteem, and many other related symptoms. I have worked with children and teens for nearly 10 years, supporting teens in finding their path through the changes that happen during this complicated time of life.

Michelle has been a wonderful support when my daughter needed it most. We truly appreciate her kindness and wisdom.
Michelle has been really helpful to me in sorting through issues of grief and several life transitions. She treated me with great respect and kindness.
Michelle is very easy to talk to and makes me comfortable talking about things I wouldn't normally talk about. Very laid back and would recommend strongly.
Michelle is incredible. She changed my life in my first session. I was so worried about starting counseling and what it would be like talking to a "stranger". But Michelle has never felt like a stranger. She's intentional with her questions and guidance and helps me talk. She's comforting and an incredible listener. I never feel judged, or over dramatic, or stupid during our sessions; I feel safe. She checks in between sessions and I feel truly comfortable with her. Even though working through things is hard, I come away from each session feeling like I understand myself and my brain better and can already tell that our sessions are making a huge impact in my day to day life.
