About Me

I am a Ph.D. level therapist. In addition, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia and New York. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I understand that seeking services for yourself and your children/family can be difficult. I am here to help you with your “therapeutic journey.” For some seeking my assistance, this might be the first experience, for others, an ongoing decision to continue services. For those returning after an absence from treatment, I am ready to help your get things back on track.

My work has allowed me to work with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I specialize in helping children, adolescents, and families develop a healthy sense of self (i.e., self-esteem, self-concept, self-confidence), help families identify, identify and define familial roles, and improve relationships. I apply treatment approaches that help individuals and family groups understand human interaction, teach new ways to decrease conflict and improve communication. I have experience addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, life stressors, parenting challenges, past, and current trauma. I am an evidenced-based treatment provider who understands the benefit of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Family Therapy for individuals and families seeking services. In addition, I use a Person/Client-Centered treatment approach and Motivational Interviewing, as needed. I am flexible when it comes to weekday schedules. I am available for evenings and weekend appointments.

I look forward to meeting you!
