I am Mark Rogers, a licensed mental health counselor-supervisor (LMHC-S) in Florida. I have practiced person-centered mental health counseling for over 13 years with twenty years of experience in career and daily functioning coaching. My clients have ranged from primary school, adolescents, adults, members of the LGBTQ community, and incarcerated individuals. I have been EMDRIA trained to provide EMDR therapy (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing). attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder-certified clinical service provider (ADHD-CCSP), trauma (PTSD and CPTSD).
My modalities include cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT and DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and EMDR with a goal of solution-focused therapy. Our therapeutic relationship is the most important part of counseling.
For the past two years, I have worked primarily in a high school setting as a mental health counselor and have found it to be extremely rewarding. A lot of young people believe that getting help means that they are 'crazy' but learn that it is not the truth. Most of the young people I see are having difficulties that many students struggle with, and need to learn coping skills that help (instead of the maladaptive skills that some learn from peers).
My goal is to provide an environment that you can feel safe that you are not being judged for your thoughts or feelings. I have helped many clients with:
communication skills (learning to talk to peers/parents/schools officials/law enforcement officials/ect),
anger management training,
drug related issues,
relationship (romantic and familial) issues,
anxiety/depression/psychosis/manic behavior, and
divorce/separation of parents.
I am a facilitator towards progress, but the engine that drives progress is within you.
I look forward to meeting you.

Mr. Rogers, is wonderful and has provided me with amazing tips to implement in my daily schedule.
Great listener and very understanding. Creates a very safe space.
I’m writing this review for Dr. Mark Rogers. Mark is an excellent therapist. He’s a patient listener who provides practical insight. Mark helped me to straighten out my jumbled thoughts so that I could see the events in my life more clearly. He gives practical advice while helping me make important life decisions for myself with a clear understanding. Mark is very easy to talk to, like an old friend.
He is extremely understanding, I feel very comfortable expressing myself and sharing my concerns to him. I’m very happy with the work we are doing together
Mark Rogers is very easy to talk to and very helpful. He is a very good therapist and makes this difficult process (therapy) much easier for me.
The best most patient and understanding therapist ever! I can't explain in words how much he has helped me with my anxiety, self-confidence, and procrastination. He was incredibly understanding, patient, and took the time to figure out what would work for me. I was so unbelievably scared to start therapy in the beginning, but by our last meeting I actually looked forward to them and will miss them! I'm so grateful to have had him as my therapist and full heartedly recommend trying out therapy with him!
I think Mark is a great counselor
Mark worked with my daughter for months. When she first started therapy, she was a sad kid going through the teen stage. Mark navigated her through that stage. I’m happy to say that she is doing much better and I will be forever thankful to Mark.
He was very useful for the issues I was going through. Very patient and understanding. He actually caught onto things about myself that I had no idea about so it was very nice to know he was constantly attentive. He was just pretty awesome and encouraging. Taught me a lot about handling myself in the real world and setting boundaries for myself.
He was very patient with me. Humored my antics and gave me a lot of useful insight for my adhd and depression, such as grounding techniques, tools for stimming and communication of my boundaries.
Mark you helped me through a really hard time in my life and I am forever grateful. My anger has controlled my life and scared those that I hold dear. With the help you gave me I feel like I am finally in control and able to start mending the relationships I hurt. Thank you so much! I want yoy to know that past therapy I have been doing well and still practicing what you taught me.
My counselor is amazing . Totally understands me and always gives good advice. I am glad I found such an amazing person to care about me
Mark is been helping me with my grief, he listen, suggested how I can move forward with the lost of my brother
Mark immediately began offering me suggestions to better develop tools aimed toward attaining my therapy goals. I felt empowered from the first consultation.
Our fam into therapist, Mr. Mark Rogers was a great sounding board between my teen and He immediately created a safe and well balanced space between (me) the parent, and teen. Then some how he manages to magically sync them. Mr. Mark Rogers has such a nice disposition and an amazing approach. I
I appreciate Mark for being the encouraging & understanding person I needed during my turmoil. He was an amazing person to bounce ideas/thoughts with in regards to my recovery & he even used worksheets with me that helped me frame my thoughts! Today I can say I’ve learned what I needed & it’s on to a new phase in my life!
Mr Mark has been very beneficial to my mental health and stability. He listens, responds, and makes suggestions where appropriate. Not your average, push cures in your face, type of counselor. Very easy to work with and will most definitely recommend this app AND this counselor to any family or friend in need of some help!!
Mark was a perfect match for what I needed. Mark is exactly what a great therapist is... patient, calm, knowledgeable, caring, informative, prompt, courteous, and at the same time real, humorous, and empathetic . I have been a divorce attorney for almost 30 years and I have met a lot of mental health therapists... Mark rates at the very top . . . a pro's pro. Mark is very experienced and thankfully extremely easy to talk to... I knew he was right for me within the first 2 minutes of our initial meeting... His calm and caring voice puts you at ease. I counselled with Mark weekly for 4 months and I found every session was a learning experience for me. I always got something out of each session that I did not know or realize before. In fact, Mark has taught me many things related to mental health that I have since used to help my own clients. He is a wealth of information and experience. He has my highest recommendation. It is a relief to know that even though I have finished my need for weekly sessions at this point (much thanks to Mark and his guidance), he remains available to me in the future... I know he is there if I ever need him... The world can use a lot more caring and friendly people like Mark...
We are a few months in. Mark is an excellent councilor. He’s very knowledgeable but most importantly he knows when to ask the right questions. I’m personally hoping to continue with him for the indefinite future.
I have suffered from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression for six years now. I also have OCD. In five sessions Mark has identified ways in which I can coax myself toward hope for the future and manage the fear of taking small steps out of my comfort zone in order to enrich and improve my quality of life. Mark focuses on techniques and solutions that can help to form healthier habits in the present. He has helped me raise the confidence I need to form and pursue new goals without becoming overwhelmed. I highly recommend his practical approach toward anxiety and depression.
Mark is the best counselor I have ever worked with. He is very patient and understanding and listens with care. He has helped me tremendously through a very hard time in my life. I highly recommend mark as a counselor! He is truly a professional and is very good at what he does.
Mark really helped me during my crippling anxiety. He is a very patient listener, and was quick to get back to me with his research. The fact that he took his own time to do said research was very comforting. The techniques he gave me helped me find my center when things got overwhelming. I truly appreciated his help and benefited from our sessions.
Mark is an amazing counselor! He has helped me through very tough times and at times when I was having my worst panic attacks and depression . Whenever I reach out to him for advice, he’s always very responsive and helpful. He has also taught me many coping mechanisms to deal with anxiety attacks and is always there to listen. I would highly recommend!
Mark was extremely responsive not only to me but to my son as well. I felt very involved and included without worrying about Mark sharing my concerns with my son. It was as if I was also getting counseling at first because he was so responsive to me about my son's behavior. I gained different insight into communicating with my son and that was one of our biggest barriers. My son surprisingly felt comfortable and liked his sessions with Mark. Thanks Mark for alleviating that "stigma" of going to counseling. This was a very easy platform and it was not as "intimidating" as going to a counseling office. It was very easy and convenient.
Mr.Rogers may be one of the most friendliest men I’ve met which made me very comfortable to just lay all my cards out on the table. He helped me through everything that I felt was wrong or flawed in my life. Mark Rogers is great, definitely 5 stars!
Mark is extremely patient and knowledgeable. He made my daughter and I feel extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
