About me
I have been a licensed professional counselor and an expressive arts therapist for 14 years. I have worked with children, adolescents, teens and young adults with concerns and goals in managing anxiety, self esteem, confidence, social issues, grief & loss, focus and stress. I utilize tools such as yoga, mindfulness, breath awareness, art and creative expression.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate and respectful. I provide a sacred container for anyone choosing the courage required in their therapeutic work. I meet my clients where they are and work organically, hold a jungian perspective, person centered approach. I believe each person has within them what they need to heal and grow, sometimes we all need someone to walk along side us through the journey and process. I am passionate about facilitating this process and creating a space for expression, sometime through working with image and the creative arts. I encourage self awareness with self love and compassion to find clarity.
I am here to encourage, support and hold a loving, creative and compassionate space for you and your process. Besides talk therapy, I utilize tools such as yoga, mindfulness, breath awareness, meditation, writing, art and creative expression in efforts to become more deeply connected and to listen to the wisdom within. I would be honored to facilitate and assist you on your journey.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lori Reeves. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Lori is an amazing therapist and she is truly dedicated to helping you with your mental health needs. Don’t think twice, book her!!
Lori is wonderful. She has been instrumental in helping me during a difficult time of transition in my life. I love art therapy!
We love Lori.
Immediately Lori helped me identify some things in my childhood that has shaped my belief and how I make choices in relationships. She is very patient with me and allows me to determine the pace of my healing, she's not trying to rush or force her opinions on me instead she's careful in making sure that unless I understand what she's trying to convey to me she will explain it more detailed until she is confident I understand. I look forward to allowing God to work through her yo help me become the best person I can be and improve my sense of self and making better choices for my life going forward.
Lori takes the time to get to know you and your story. She is patient, understanding and empathetic. She will ask what your preferences are when it comes to the type of therapy. I just started doing expressive art therapy with her and I feel very hopeful!
