About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I work with individuals (ages 13 and up) who are experiencing grief loss of any kind including divorce, death of a loved one, abandonment, or any kind of traumatic experience. I can help you work through feelings of loneliness and isolation. Many of my clients have recently moved to a new city and are adapting to new jobs and surroundings. I am an EMDR trained therapist and play therapist. My style is intuitive and supportive. I hope to help you work through difficult emotions and overcome old and ineffective patterns of behavior. I can help you through this life transition as you begin to heal past hurts, grow in self acceptance, and create action plans for your life. Although I do not subscribe to any particular religion, I am deeply spiritual and rely on the grace of a higher power where I experience unconditional positive regard. I hope to do the same for you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lisa Davisson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Lisa was amazingly helpful and insightful. Patiently listening and offering constructive guidance that is working! I am thankful for the time and dedication she gifted us with.
She gets and understands my main concerns. She's supportive, non-intrusive, and offers the support I request.
