About me
Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: inpatient addiction treatment, working with survivors of human trafficking and seeing clients in a private practice setting. I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee.
As a therapist, my goal is to bring hope, acceptance, and healing to those who are hurting or facing difficult life challenges. I emphasize an approach that is focused on you, the client, in an honest, safe, and collaborative process that will help you to maximize your innate capacity for wellness. We will work together, utilizing the resources and strengths that you bring, to help you to identify and obtain your goals.
I integrate a number of effective approaches in my work, though this often depends on the needs of the individual. Central to my approach is the belief each of us is designed to seek deep connection with one another and that life’s difficulties are often caused by unmet psychological and emotional needs. These needs can often be identified during the therapy process and lead to more fulfilling relationships and overall increased well-being.
For the past several years, I have worked almost exclusively with teens and their parents to help address issues in communication and adolescent development. Areas of specialty include treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, adoption related concerns, self-esteem, and those generally feeling stuck in life. I have experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults in a safe and nurturing setting. Please contact me to discuss how you can work towards finding the life that you deserve.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lindsey Reeves. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Lindsey really cares and listens without judgement but also helps you find ways to move forward. She’s great!
Lindsey is great she has made my life so much better I really feel she cares for me and that is very important I would definitely recommend her she's very important to me right now in my life
Thank you so much
Lindsey has been an amazing source of support for my daughter who suffers with anxiety and depression. She was able to offer her additional support initially when she was “in crisis”. She worked well with our schedule and has offered some flexibility. She is kind hearted and really is able to get my very shy daughter into a comfortable place relatively quickly to feel comfortable to really speak her mind. My daughter actually looks forward to her sessions with Lindsey. As a therapist myself, and as a Mother, I would strongly recommend Lindsey. She’s truly is a gem!
She’s so nice and caring! Really puts me at ease and listens.
I am endlessly grateful for Lindsey's support and guidance. These are very stressful times that we live in and she has been able to use her expertise to give me a plan to make steps towards healing. I look forward to our weekly sessions and always walk away feeling more empowered, less stressed and ready to take life's challenges.
Lindsey combines kindness, experience, compassion and care and I can’t speak highly enough of her!

Lindsey is amazing! She listens & gives suggestions on how to help & refocus the areas of your life that need work. Talking to her is like talking with a friend, which makes it so easy to open up to her.
Lindsey is such a breathe of fresh air. She is relatable, compassionate and intentional. I feel so comfortable sharing with her and she cares so deeply. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
Lindsey has been great! Pulled me through many battles.
Very grateful for Lindsey! She is the perfect counselor for me in this season of my life.
Lindsey has been my therapist for a few weeks now. I feel she really listens and provides a lot of feedback. When I speak with Lindsey she makes it feel like a safe place and I can speak to her about anything without judgement.
It’s my first time to ask for a professional help. Of course, I was nervous and scared. I was hopeless when the first recommended Therapist we didn’t click and she told me that teencounseling.com couldn’t help my problem even though she haven’t heard my stories yet. I was so down when I heard that and felt sad.
But then, though I felt hopeless that time I still have this feeling that I need to double check I need second opinion if what I am dealing is not as bad. And I am so glad I did the switching of Therapist.
Second opinion is good somehow.
I met Lindsey and she a nice person.
First approach Lindsey was so approachable with a wide smile. Feels like she understood what I’m dealing without judgment. I shared what I’ve been through, she listens and give me some ideas how to cope up with it, it’s effective it ease me. She’s helping me.
I would definitely recommend Lindsey to anyone because she a good listener and a good Therapist.
Lindsey has already helped me so much in such a short time. She understands and doesn’t judge you for anything.
In the short time I have been working with Lindsey I have really come to trust her and like her. She is available all week through messages and is friendly and supportive.
Lindsey is a down to Earth therapist that is sweet, kind and caring. I feel extremely comforted when speaking to her about what is going on and I am very grateful for the feedback that she provides. She listens and is open and honest. She checks on me frequently to make sure I am doing ok.
Excellent with recommendations and listening
I really enjoy talking with Lindsey. She is attentive and present during all interactions.
Lindsey is great! She has been my therapist for just over two weeks now. I have done one live session so far and can't wait to do more. She is so calm and relatable but also validating and informative at the same time. Definitely happy to have her as my therapist.
I have recently started working with Lindsey and have really enjoyed my experience. Not only has she been great helping me with current issues but has also made stellar recommendations with career and future choices. Would definitely recommend her. She kind, thoughtful, and clearly very passionate about helping others while maintaining a relatable nature.
Lindsey is a great help to me in dealing with life transitions. She is great at helping me recognize things in myself that I hadn't previously identified and what those things mean for my interactions with the world. She communicates with me regularly outside of our scheduled sessions which helps those sessions be even more productive. She is very organized and always starts our sessions on time.
Lindsey has been incredible. We’ve only met a couple of times, but she has already helped immensely. I feel much more confident about my mental health work knowing she is my trainer and advocate.
Lindsey has been amazing. Only a couple of weeks in with therapy and I believe she really cares. Subtle techniques and guidance that have opened up so much of my true self within. I am sleeping better and am excited to continue this journey with Lindsey to be the best I can be. Not just for myself, but all those around me that I care about.
