About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been practicing for 11 years. I have a bachelor's of science with a major in psychology and master's of social work from the University of Utah. I am licensed and currently practice in Utah and Wyoming. I have experience providing treatment for individuals, families, and groups in the following settings: community mental health, private practice, and psychiatric hospitals. I worked in child welfare for several years in the past advocating for children and families.
My clinical interests and majority of my experience include treating: physical, emotional, and/or sexual trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, addictions, and adjustment to major life changes. I have experience treating teens in crisis and addressing issues with the following: self-harm, low self-esteem, social skills, oppositional defiant behavior, trauma, self-worth, interpersonal conflict, addiction, attachment, adjusting to major family and life changes. I have run teen mental health and substance abuse therapy groups along with individual therapy. I also have experience going to local junior highs and high schools providing mental health therapy one to two days a week helping teens with a variety of issues. Teens usually tell me I am easy to open up to and give them coping skills they will actually use. I understand that teens need to feel safe and comfortable in order to open up about what is bothering them which is my first priority in treating them.
The treatment modalities I may use are: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, solution focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, mindfulness, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), and family systems theory. I look forward to helping your teen navigate what may be creating problems for them and improve family connection!

Lindsay is amazing
I LOVE Lindsay! Love her perspective and expertise, she has truly changed my life. I feel like Lindsay really cares about me as an individual. She celebrates my progress and gives the best advise without it being overwhelming.
Lindsay is a very knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic therapist. She applies effective techniques from recent research studies in our therapy sessions. Even though she is already very knowledgeable, she is always eager to learn new skills and ways to more effectively help her clients. I am grateful for having her as my therapist. She helped me through the depth of my depression and was able to pinpoint the root of my feelings. She also helped me discover that I have ADHD and encouraged me to get medical treatment, which significantly improved my quality of life.
Lindsay makes me feel heard, and reinforces positive self-talk. She motivates me to be better and helps me find motivation in my daily life. I recommend her highly.
My counselor had been truly amazing. I couldn't ask for a better counselor.
Lindsay is amazing!!!
Thank you for providing my son and our family with support during some hard times. Your help has been life changing
I am so glad that I found Lindsay she has really helped me the last couple months. I really don't know what I would do without her
Yes. Get Lindsay as your therapist if you can. She is easy to work with and it’s well worth the time spent with her.
Lindsay is incredible. I’ve had such a positive experience with her so far.
Lindsay is so wonderful, patient and kind. When I am speaking to her I feel like just a normal person. She validates my emotions and I just feel so comfortable with her. It has made the scary process of going to therapy all the better.
Lindsay is utterly amazing ! She just got me and knows how to help me.
Lindsay is very empathetic and encouraging, she really has my best interest at heart and I can feel so much good energy when I’m talking to her!
I love Lindsay! She has been great so far. She gives me lots of tools to use in the interim and is open to trying different therapies to help me. I look forward to seeing her weekly for the foreseeable future.u
Lindsay is an angel in disguise. I feel comfortable telling her just about anything and that’s incredibly rare for me. She makes me feel heard, more confident in myself/decisions, and at ease. There’s just something about her that’s incredibly nice to be around. I used to dislike the idea of video chatting with an online therapist because it made me nervous, but I notice I always feel better when I do talk to her. She doesn’t just feel like a therapist, but an actual friend who cares/listens to you. :)
Wonderfully open and approachable
